Lego Fortnite Odyssey: How To Get A Glider
Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock and use Gliders in Lego Fortnite Odyssey.
Rift Shards are a rare material that can be used to make two crucial utility stations: the Battle Bus Station and Legendary Forge. Whether it be reaching your destination quicker or upgrading your tools, Rift Shards are invaluable, and we’ve got a guide to help you get them.
How To Get Rift Shards
Rift Shards are acquired in two main ways: defeating any of the three Golem types on the Lost Isles, and destroying Battle Bus Stations.
Finding Golems in the Lost Isles can be difficult if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Sleeping Golems can be found around the Jungle biomes, accompanied by a chest in front of a large, fruit statue. Once you open the chest, the Golem will be awakened and will begin to fight the player.
These enemies are extremely powerful and can easily take you down if you aren’t prepared.
Storm-wild and Tomato Golems can be found on the floating islands above the Lost Isles, and are significantly harder. These will typically drop one Rift Shard each.
Defeating Golems will be much easier with a high-level pickaxe.
Finally, Battle Bus Stations can be found scattered across the overworld and can be destroyed with an Epic pickaxe or better. These will be marked as letters on your map once discovered and can be found by following blue pillars of light.
Once destroyed, these will drop three Rift Shards each, along with other materials needed to make them.
What Are Rift Shards Used For?
Rift Shards can be used to craft both a Battle Bus Station to unlock faster travel, and a Legendary Forge to upgrade your tools into Legendary versions of themselves. Along with the shards, here are the crafting recipes for both of these builds:
Battle Bus Station
- 4x Metal Bar
- 2x Granite Slab
- 6x Planks
- 3x Rift Shard
Legendary Forge
- 3x Rift Crystal
- 8x Iron Bar
- 6x Cut Ruby
- 5x Rift Shard
