There has been no acknowledgment of the issues on the official Call of Duty social media accounts at the time of this writing, but one has to imagine that Activision is well aware of the problems and a fix will be rolled out sooner rather than later. New updates are released for Call of Duty: Warzone on a regular basis, so fans shouldn’t have to wait too long for these problems to be resolved.
Call of Duty‘s player count on Steam has been down in the wake of stiff competition in the online multiplayer space, problems with cheaters, and recent unpopular decisions like the premium Squid Game Battle Pass. While things seem grim at the moment, getting these problems sorted out combined with the return of Verdansk could very well lead to a resurgence for the popular BR.
