SUPERHOT Team

OpenCritic Rating

Strong

Superhot is an indie FPS puzzle title that took the gaming industry by storm upon its initial PC release. It features a unique mechanic wherein time only moves when the player moves. This means that players need to carefully problem-solve the scenarios to avoid incoming enemy projectiles and defeat all enemies within a given level. The VR version of Superhot is a great game that is perfect for VR beginners and beloved by those experienced with VR.

Superhot VR is this formula made extra immersive by the VR format. Players must dodge incoming bullets, using their own satisfying guns and weapons to time the perfect shot at the enemies. Whilst the gunplay is not realistic, its compelling nature comes from the fact the guns have serious consequences, as both enemies and the player die in one shot. This creates risky and rewarding gunplay, enhanced by the immersion of VR.
