How To Find Cell Garden Entrance in Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden is one of the areas in your Panopticon that you’ll need to find during the main story towards the beginning of Freedom Wars Remastered. After that, you can continue to use the Cell Garden to farm resources in a safer environment than out in an operation.

There are also multiple Cell Gardens for you to find throughout the game, but finding each one is virtually identical no matter what level you are on. Here’s how to find any Cell Garden and also exactly how they work to farm resources.

There are three Thorns to choose from in Freedom Wars Remastered; here’s how to unlock and equip new ones.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

You’ll first be tasked by Mattias to find the Cell Garden to investigate the ghost girl story he heard. To find the Cell Garden, travel to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From where your cell is, look to the left corner of the block to see a small room that looks like an elevator, but instead can be interacted with to take you to 2-E165, the same area you found Enzo at.

Once entering 2-E165, follow the wall to the right to the other small room with a device that can take you to 2-G100. Finally, you’ll repeat that process one last time as the far room of 2-G100 is the device that takes you to the Cell Garden.

The path you need to take to find the Cell Garden is the same on every level, and unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can greatly speed up all the walking that is required to reach it. After completing the main quest tied to the Cell Garden you’ll be able to go there any time or to any other Cell Garden, but there is a useful Entitlement you’ll want to get first.

Every device that goes to the next room or the Cell Garden is marked with a blue door icon right over the device.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The main story mission that involves you entering the Cell Garden is different from how it works outside of that. Every other time you enter the Cell Garden, here’s how it works:

  • You have one minute before you’re kicked out.
  • The layout of the room will always be different.
  • There are eight resources on the ground throughout the room, represented by small green orbs.

You can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty to increase the amount of time you can spend in the Cell Garden, as some layouts will have more puzzle elements that can make it more difficult. The first upgrade allows you to stay for two minutes and is available after reaching CODE level 3.
