KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 has been busy dishing out new packs for us players and over the past couple of months, some really endgame packs have arrived. One of the recently arrived packs is the Show Time Aerial Fort pack, which got a lot of attention because of the new Show Time skill, which many of the F2P players would like to call “P2W Skills”. Although most players have already snatched up the pack by the time this review is out, if you’re still considering it, let me share my thoughts on the Show Time Aerial Fort pack in eFootball 2025.
A similar 150-player pack here, but a new Show Time skill as well as a new booster as well, so it definitely excited a lot of us players. This Aerial Fort skill boosts a player’s performance in aerial duels, specifically when they’re positioned within their own penalty box. As for the boosters, they now come with the newly introduced Aerial Block ability.
Ruben Dias
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: The Destroyer
So this is the card I pulled with whatever coins I had left. Strangely, he was supposed to be the biggest card of the pack, but he wasn’t my target. Let me be honest, I was disappointed when I pulled him since he wasn’t the playstyle I needed but I had to swallow my words when I started playing him.
On the ground, his impressive defensive awareness and tackling are complemented by his ability to position himself effectively. That playstyle comes as a boon, shutting down passing lanes and attackers before they can make a move. He is very aggressive, so might need to slap the Defensive instruction on him if you want him to play a certain way.
What makes him the best among other CB options is his passing ability and increased pace. I remember I avoided using some really good featured cards of Dias because he was on the slower side, but here both get a major buff, which fits the meta. It is not that he is not getting outrun by faster attackers, he gets enough time to react.
Virgil Van Dijk
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
Virgil van Dijk’s commanding presence on the pitch is further enhanced with the Aerial Fort skill. Standing tall at 193 cm, he already excels in aerial duels, and this skill boosts his ability to win headers in critical moments. His defensive awareness combined with this ability makes him a dominant force during set pieces during your attacks and when clearing high balls from danger.
With this new skill, van Dijk becomes an even more reliable option in defensive situations against crossing where there are two amazing Show Time skills in Bullet Header and Edged Crossing, thus ensuring that his team’s defense remains solid in the air. This skill also seems to strengthen his natural ability, allowing him to maintain control of aerial challenges and dominate in the defensive third.
Jonathan Tah
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
Out of the three, I find this guy might be the best performer. When you give him an auto-build, he comes the most dominant aerially. Also trust me, trying his base version, he is already great physically, and with these buffs in physical contact and defensive stats, he looks really scary. He’s also a towering 195 cm, the tallest among the three so might be the best performer on air too.
While his aerial dominance is highlighted, Tah is also a solid defender on the ground. His Build Up playstyle allows him to intercept passes and break up attacks with exceptional positioning, and his physicality ensures that attackers are unable to break through and shield the ball. Try playing with his progression points to get him to that higher 90s range.
Best picks from the Show Time Aerial Fort
Okay, my time for the verdict. If you’re in the market for top-tier defenders, Ruben Dias, Virgil van Dijk, and Jonathan Tah are absolute endgame choices you can’t afford to miss. These players dominate the backline with unmatched strength, aerial prowess, and defensive attributes. Even if you manage to pull any one of these, you are in for a treat.
