After defeating the Serpoians in season one of Dandadan, Momo has an unexpected reunion with her childhood friend and crush, Jin Enjoji. As Momo, Okarun, and Jiji embark on a long journey to the quaint and seemingly peaceful Dajia Town, mysterious forces with evil intentions begin to stir.

After Jiji approaches Seiko for help, she welcomes him to the Ayase household with open arms. Momo has been kept in the dark about Jin’s cursed house and the deaths of spirit mediums who have tried to exorcise the ghost that has been haunting him. Although Seiko is a renowned spirit medium, her powers are unfortunately limited to Kamigoe City.

Momo has awakened her spiritual powers quite recently, but that does not stop her grandmother from entrusting the responsibility of exorcising the ghost in Jin’s cursed house to her. Without much experience, Momo now faces an extraordinary challenge and will have to rely on her instincts and newfound abilities to confront the malevolent spirit. Only time will tell how risky Seiko’s decision is going to be as her granddaughter navigates bizarre challenges that surpass the scope of her initial assignment.

As Hana and Taro reunited and confessed their love for each other, Momo’s memories flashed in his mind. It appears that he has never felt such a deep connection before, and watching a couple put their feelings into words strikes a cord within him.
Suddenly, Okarun’s jealousy and insecurity about Momo grows. He starts getting desperate to get her attention, especially with Jiji close by. His growing attachment to Momo is likely to bring them closer, but with Jin also around, it would be interesting to see how their relationship evolves.

While on the train to Daija Town, Ken starts talking about the Tsuchinoko, a snake-like creature from Japanese mythology. That’s when Jin mentions that his village has a legend of the great serpent. There is also a mysterious sanctum called the Tsuchinoko shrine that has worshiped the great snake for about 200 years.

Later, when they arrive at Daija Town, Momo and Enjoji talk about the volcano there. Interestingly, Jin points out that it erupted about 200 years ago, around the same time that the Tsuchinoko shrine was constructed. Although it is just a hypothesis, there seems to be good reason to believe there is some connection between the great snake and the volcano.

Ever since Jiji arrived at his house in the village, he has been haunted by a mysterious force. Soon, he was confronted by a ghost who followed him everywhere, including his dreams. The origins of the malevolent spirit remain a mystery, but its presence became more suffocating with each passing day.
That idiot! I warned him, you can’t trust someone with the Evil Eye.
In an effort to put an end to his misery, Jin sought the help of spirit mediums, but it ended tragically as some of them committed suicide. This yokai will later revealed to be the Evil Eye, a dangerous spirit who will change the lives of Jin and his friends forever.

The Secret Room in Jiji’s Cursed House
Jin House is Not as Ordinary As it Appears
In the season 1 finale, Jiji and Okarun notice that the cursed house appears to have a secret room just next to the foyer. As they go inside to investigate, Ken realizes that the wall feels hollow. Jiji does not hesitate and brings a hammer to break it down. When he strikes, the duo are shocked to notice that they have been right. There is a secret dark room just next to the foyer all this time, and they didn’t notice until now.
