Expanded Mermaids Mod

With the Expanded Mermaids Mods, SpinningPlumbobs adds a lot to the game to make mermaids more like the Vampire and Werewolf occults. For example, mermaid experience XP and ranks are included, similar to the other occults who need XP to unlock and earn perks.

Other types of mermaids are also included, like sea witches and kelpies, each coming with their own different abilities and interactions. You can now also discover mermaid mythology with this mod to become the best mermaid possible. This mod adds a lot of missing potential elements to the expansion pack.

Available with this mod, they have added one long mermaid tail that comes with 44 different options and one top with 41 different options. The new mermaid tail by itself is stunning, but add in the tops to match, it would take any mermaid Sim to the next level.

Merfolk Cove Lot Trait

For whatever reason, there aren’t many mermaids by default in The Sims 4, so they’re hard to find. On top of that, asking someone if they are a mermaid could lose your Sims friendship points. So, that is why a Merfolk Cove was created.

With this mod, any lot that is a beach in Sulani has the option to have a Merfolk Cove Lot Trait, which means mermaids will gather here to hang out. This lot gives positive buffs to mermaid Sims and after visiting, your Sims will be trusted by the rest of the mermaids.

Mermaid Motive Tweak

If you think mermaids should be able to take care of all their needs by interacting with the ocean, then the Mermaid Motive Tweak mod is going to be for you. With this mod, your mermaid won’t have to leave the water to fulfill their needs unless you want them to.

Aside from already being able to sleep in the ocean and keeping your mermaid hydrated, your Sims can now freedive for food, relieve themselves in the ocean, and fill their social needs quicker by interacting with dolphins. Now your mermaid can hang out in the ocean all day.

Once again, if you were looking for some new CAS options, this could be another mod for you. While the few options we have available for mermaid tails are great, this one is a bit more fantastical and seems to blend more seamlessly with the Sims’ skin.

With this mod, one new tail is added, but it comes with 37 different colors to choose from. The colors and styles are stunning, and most of the options are two-toned. So live out your Sims’ mermaid fantasies with these new tail options.

IL-Sirens

This mod was meant to be added alongside the Expanded Mermaids mod, but it is not required. IL-Sirens adds sirens, who need blood to be able to survive. So if you were wanting to lure other Sims into the ocean to take a drink from, or lead them to their demise, you can finally do it.

This mod requires two other mods to be able to function. These mods can also be found on their Patreon.

To become a siren, your Sims will already need to be a mermaid, but then they must eat the Siren Kelp, which will give them a thirst for blood. Sirens are able to kill other Sims, so, be as careful or as reckless as you want.

One of the more notable things about nearly all the occults is the aspirations that come with them. It helps guide you through your first run through with the occult Sim and it gets you some extra aspiration points. Fortunately, MarlynSims has created several aspirations that you can experience with their mod.

When you think of mermaids, you think of their scales, their long tails, and beautiful hair. While the base game hair is nice, no mermaid is complete without some stunning hair and Oydis’ mod gives exactly that.

There are eight different hairs included along with little flowers that can be added on either side of the head. Some of the options include split-dye hair, which would look stunning on any mermaid. It is noted that that earrings are not compatible with these hairstyles, but hats are.
