Uryoku Chono is an amateur magician whose tricks were way too obvious to be interesting. As a result, he had a hard time getting an audience for his magic shows. A lot of his disastrous routines were saved by Kusuo.

He tries new things to keep his shows interesting, such as adding comedy routines or circus animals. He mistakes Kusuo’s psychic powers for tricks and calls him a master. Later in the anime, Chono becomes a more experienced magician.

Nendo doesn’t think before he acts, which often catches Kusuo off-guard. A lot of his actions are impulsive, which often leads to a mess which Saiki has to resolve. He also has a short attention span, which is also shown by how he barely understands the rules for a card game that Kaido wanted to play with him.

Nendo looks like his dad, who passed away in an accident before he was born.

Nendo is also very trusting of people, which leads to some people taking advantage of him. Kusuo finds him easy to distract when he has to teleport all of a sudden. Nendo is also physically strong, and he excels in the physical education class.

Saiki Kusuke is Kusuo’s genius brother who left for England after being jealous of his brother. He has a hobby of tinkering with various machines, which he then tries on his psychic brother. He invented the hairpins that Kusuo wears to control his powers.

He is a competitive person, who wants to be better than Kusuo instead of being a responsible brother. Kusuke has challenged Kusuo several times in a few games to determine who is superior. He also wears a strange device on his head that prevents Kusuo from reading his thoughts.

Cats in anime are always there for some comic relief and Amp is no exception. He loves to be petted and cuddled around by people, but it also led him to develop a superiority complex over humans. Amp acts entitled to people showering him with love and giving him food.

Amp’s self-esteem is hurt after Kusuo refuses to pay the respect that Amp thinks he deserves. This cat also doesn’t like to be replaced and acts jealous when Kusuo’s parents pay more attention to a robot cat than him. Amp is also overconfident about his looks, however he ends up a creep in every female cat’s eyes.

Kokomi Teruhashi is a cute girl who is nice to people who come across her. However, her appearance is deceptive, and deep down she just acts kind because she wants to get praise from the boys around her.

Kokomi is highly egoistical about her beauty, and wants Saiki to fall in love with her. She has a tendency to get jealous of other girls who approach Saiki. Her only goal is to get married to him in the future, but her brother is against it.

Shun Kaido

Shun Kaido is an eccentric character in the anime, who has the tendency to create fake scenarios around his life. According to him, the Dark Reunion is causing every problem in his life. He imagines himself as a hero who will someday defeat this evil legion.

Other characters including Saiki tend to laugh at his delusional behavior. Kaido also keeps a secret diary filled with his imaginary terms, which he keeps hidden from his strict mother. Kaido tries to be a role-model for kids and tries to brag about his non-existing powers to them.
