A new leak brought by Twitter user Centro Leaks suggests that the trading function in Pokemon TCG Pocket will be limited to diamond and one-star cards. The information was originally published by Twitter user eb576dcfe, known as Pyoro, and indicates that trading higher rarity cards, contrary to what some players expected, will not be possible. Trading would only be possible for Pokemon TCG Pocket players exchanging one- and two-diamond basic cards and their evolutions, three-diamond silver-bordered cards, four-diamond ex cards, and one-star non-ex cards.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Leak Suggests Limited Trading Function
Considering the leaker’s information, the Pokemon TCG Pocket card rarities restricted from trading would include two-star cards, which correspond to the full art ex cards, trainer cards, and immersive cards. Another rarity to be left out would be the one-crown cards, ex cards featuring full artwork and a golden trim. The leak does not address the possibility of exchanging promotional cards, which include those purchased from the in-game shop and those from limited-time events bearing a special “promo” rarity.
Leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made, although this is not the first time that Pokemon TCG Pocket players have seen information that points to a limitation on trading cards.
