Palworld features over 100 unique Pals for you to discover and capture. With major updates continually adding more Pals, the list is constantly growing. While most Pals can be found by exploring the Palpagos Islands, some can only be obtained by breeding specific Pals or discovering eggs in the wild.
One of the iconic faces of the Feybreak Update was the Pal, Bastigor. This ruthless-looking humanoid Ice Pal appeared as the partner of the Feybreak Tower Boss, Bjorn. As Tower Bosses cannot be captured, breeding is the only reliable way to obtain a Bastigor in Palworld.

How to Breed a Bastigor in Palworld
By breeding Anubis
and Frostallion
, you will get a Huge Ice Egg that hatches into a Bastigor in Palworld. This is the sole breeding combination that produces a Bastigor. While there are plenty of Pal combinations to breed an Anubis, the only way to get a Frostallion is by capturing it.
Frostallion is one of the Legendary Pals in Palworld, located in the frigid Astral Mountains. Head to the coordinates -357, 509 to find this level 60 Alpha Pal roaming on a pool of ice. As an Ice Pal, Frostallion is vulnerable to Fire attacks. You can ride a Chillet
, Pyrin
, or Ragnahawk
to turn your attacks into Fire and reduce Frostallion’s HP as much as possible. Using an Ultimate or Legendary Sphere gives you the best odds of capturing Frostallion once its health is low.
As for Anubis, you can find its level 47 Alpha Pal variant in Twilight Dunes at coordinates -134, -94. Since Anubis is a Ground-type Pal, you can use Grass Pals like Mossanda
, Ragnahawk, or Mammorest
to deal extra damage. If you prefer not to fight the Alpha Anubis, several early-game breeding combinations can easily breed an Anubis:
Once you have an Anubis and a Frostallion, place them in a Breeding Farm (unlocked at Technology level 19) and add a Cake
to the storage box of the Breeding Farm. Ensure that both Pals are of opposite genders to initiate the breeding process. After a few minutes, they will spawn a Huge Frozen Egg.
Place this Huge Frozen Egg into an Egg Incubator (unlocked at Technology level 7) and wait for the egg to get ready. If you are playing on High difficulty settings, a Huge Egg can take up to 72 hours to hatch. Players who wish to hatch eggs more frequently are advised to lower the world Hatching Time to a lower value or 0 for instant hatching. Alternatively, place a Cooler or Electric Cooler near the Egg Incubator to keep the Huge Frozen Egg comfortable, boosting the hatching process.
After hatching both a male and female Bastigor, you can repeatedly breed them to create an entire army of Bastigors in Palworld.
While exploring Feybreak Island, you may come across Huge Frozen Eggs. These eggs can hatch into a Bastigor but are quite difficult to find.
Bastigor Work Suitability, Skills, and Best Passive Skills
Bastigor is an Ice Pal in Palworld, excelling at three different work traits: Level 3 in Lumbering, Level 3 in Mining, and Level 4 in Cooling. While you can use Bastigor to assist at your base, this Pal is best suited for fighting other Pals due to its strong offensive skills.
Although it is an Ice Pal, Bastigor can use both Ground and Ice attacks. Its signature move, Glacial Impact (unlocked at level 55), has one of the highest power scalings and delivers a deadly Ice attack. It also comes with powerful Ice attacks like Diamond Rain, Frost Talon, and Iceberg, as well as Ground attacks like Stone Beat and Rockburst.
After reaching level 59, you can unlock Bastigor’s Hammer from the Technology tab in exchange for four Technology Points. This saddle allows you to ride Bastigor and command its attacks.
Best Passive Skills for Bastigor
For Offense:
As Bastigor is best suited for offense, aim for the following Passive Skills to create a powerful Bastigor:
- Legend: Increases Attack by 20%, Defense by 20%, and Movement Speed by 15%. You can pass this Passive Skill to Bastigor from the Legendary Frostallion Pal.
- Ice Emperor: Increases Ice Attack Damage by 20%. It can also be inherited from the Legendary Frostallion Pal.
- Siren of the Void: Increases Dark and Ice Attack Damage by 30%. This exclusive skill is only found in Bellanoir Libero. Breed Bellanoir Libero with Rooby or Rushoar to get an Anubis with this Passive Skill, which can then be passed to Bastigor.
- Ferocious: Increases Attack by 20%.
Siren of the Void can be challenging to acquire, as it requires building the Bellanoir Libero raid boss to hatch a Pal with this effect. If this proves difficult, consider opting for other Passives like Brave, Hooligan, Sadist, or Aggressive.
For Base Work:
If you plan to use Bastigor as a helper in your base, consider these Passive Skills for increased efficiency:
- Workaholic: Pal’s Sanity decreases 15% slower.
- Artisan: Increases Work Speed by 50%.
- Serious: Increases Work Speed by 20%.
- Work Slave: Increases Work Speed by 30% but lowers Attack by 30%.
- Positive Thinker: Pal’s Sanity decreases 10% slower.
These are some of the best Passive Skills for Bastigor in Palworld.
