Much like other survival games, it involves exploring an expansive open world, gathering resources, crafting items, and building bases. However, what truly sets Palworld apart is the way pals elevate the gameplay, making survival not only more manageable but also more engaging.
With a roster of over 100 pals already in the game, the latest update adds even more excitement by introducing Feybreak, a brand-new island. This area offers players new pals to discover, unique challenges to overcome, and additional tools and weapons to craft, further enriching the experience.
The Pal Metal Pickaxe is a strong mining tool introduced in the recent Feybreak update for Palworld. This high-end pickaxe is an essential addition to your toolkit if you’re looking to enhance your mining capabilities in the game.
But before you can craft the Pal Metal Pickaxe, you’ll first need to unlock its recipe from the Technology menu.
This requires reaching level 44. Once unlocked, you’ll need the proper production structure to craft it – either the Production Assembly Line 2 or the Weapon Assembly Line 2.
- The Production Assembly Line 2 can be unlocked at level 42 and requires 30 Nails, 100 Refined Ingots, and 10 Circuit Boards to build.
- Alternatively, the Weapon Assembly Line 2 is unlocked at level 47 and has the same material requirements: 30 Nails, 100 Refined Ingots, and 10 Circuit Boards.
Regardless of which structure you use, power is essential for them to function.
To provide power, build a Power Generator, which is unlocked at level 26 in the Technology menu and requires 50 Ingots and 20 Electric Organs.
Once built, summon an Electric Pal to your base and assign it to the generator to ensure power for your structures.
With everything in place, approach either of the two production structures and interact with it.
