While battles in Palworld are exciting and you may get lost in the captivating world of Pals, one thing should never be forgotten: the game’s survival aspect. Therefore, survival is key, and your only enemies aren’t just Pals. Harsh climates, dangerous human NPCs, and of course, hunger, are your biggest enemies.

And these aren’t just threats to you; they can be your Pals’ enemies as well. This is why what you eat and their satiety levels are important. Of course, if you want to make different dishes, you will need carrots. But before that, you need to know where to find carrot seeds.

How To Get Carrot Seeds

In Palworld, there are many seeds that you can obtain, which unlock new cooking recipes. One of these seeds is the carrot seed. If you’ve reached level 32, you’ll want to unlock the Carrot Plantation technology, which requires three carrot seeds along with other materials.

You can loot carrot seeds from the overworld or acquire them by hunting specific Pals. Below is a table listing the Pals with a chance to drop carrot seeds:

Dinossom		Dinossom can be found in various locations, including low-level islands like Ice Wind Island, the western part of Sea Breeze Archipelago, and Eastern Wild Island. It can also be found to the north and south of Small Settlement, in the Plateau of Beginnings, and in the sakura tree area on Sakurajima Island.
Dinossom Lux		Dinossom Lux can only be found in the southern half of the Dessicated Desert.
Prunelia		Prunelia can only be found in the crimson-colored soil areas of Feybreak Island.
Wumpo Botan		Wumpo Botan can be found exclusively at No.2 Wildlife Sanctuary. If it doesn’t spawn upon your visit, simply leave the island and return.

If you want to obtain more carrot seeds, instead of killing the Pals that drop them, try capturing them. Then, butcher them with a Meat Cleaver
or a Pal Disassembly Conveyor. This way, you can get carrot seeds both when you capture them and when you butcher them.

Once you’ve gathered enough carrot seeds and other materials, you can build a Carrot Plantation. This will allow you to create new cooking recipes containing carrots.
