How Does Rank Reset Work?
The rank reset system in Marvel Rivals is designed to ensure you begin the new season on a fresh playing field while still reflecting somewhat reflecting your previous performance. At the end of the Season, your rank will be reduced by seven tiers as part of the rank reset. Check this table below for some examples of what your rank may reset to:

Your player level will not be affected by the rank reset. Whatever level you reached during the previous Season remains unchanged, meaning you won’t need to grind back to level ten to access ranked mode.
How Long Does It Take To Bring My Rank Back Up?
With three tiers in every rank, the reset effectively drops you nearly two and a half ranks lower than your previous season’s placement.
To climb back to your previous rank, you’ll need to accumulate approximately 250 points. On average, players earn around 20 points per win, meaning it will take roughly ten to 20 consecutive wins, depending on your performance, to return to your original standing. Keep in mind that losses can slow this progression, so consistency will be key in making your climb efficient.
