Mobile Legends Patch 1.9.50 Update
  • Hero Revamps such as Gloo, Hanzo are now a part of the Advanced Server!
  • There will be Tank Adjustments for the heroes in the Server.

With the new Patch Update in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), devs have aimed to improve the combat effectiveness of certain damage-oriented Tanks that have relatively low pick rates in the current patch. Along with them, there are some new revamps in the Advanced Server which will come in the main server later. Let us break down the Patch 1.9.50 Update for Mobile Legends in detail.

Revamped Gloo‘s in-game model will be changing with new visual effects on the Advanced Server. Gameplay-wise, devs have optimized the control experience of Gloo’s combo, as well as the skill foreswing and overall maneuverability.

Skill 2 (↑)

The skill has changed the skill shape to a fan area. If no target is hit, Gloo will spread forward and deal Sustained Damage.

Ultimate (↑)

The devs have removed the splitting effect from Phase 1. Now, upon activating the Ultimate, Gloo will directly attach itself to the target enemy hero with maximum stacks of its passive.

Revamped Hanzo (Adjusted)

Hanzo‘s strength is being changed in the continuous effort to revamp it to increase Attack Speed and Crit builds is too high and demands low control skills. Devs aim to balance their performance across different equipment builds.

Attributes (↓)

Physical Attack Growth: 11.45 >> 8

Skill 1 (~)

  • Damage: 270-420 + 60% of Extra Physical Attack >> 270-360 + 60%-80% of Extra Physical Attack
  • Extra Damage at Full Stacks: 1596 of target’s Max HP >> (12+ 1% of Extra Physical Attack)% of target’s Max HP
  • New Effect: Damage at max stacks ignores 30% of the target’s Physical Defense.

Skill 2 (↑)

Extra Physical Bonus: 30% >> 45%

Leomord (Buffed)

Leomord struggles against targets with over 50% HP, so devs have increased his Human Form Skill 1 damage against such targets. This will help him whittle down high-HP enemies faster and leverage his Passive to secure kills with Crit Basic Attacks.

Devs have also increased Barbiel’s movement speed in Ultimate to help Leomord enter Mounted State

Human Form – Skill 1 (↑)

  • Base Damage: 500-800 (+ 180% of Total Physical Attack) >> 450-850 (+ 130% of Total Physical Attack) + 8%-10.5% of the target’s current HP
  • Added Max Damage Against Lord and Turtle: 1000-2000

Ultimate (↑)

Barbiel Movement Speed: 6 >> 9

Kalea (Buffed)

Kalea’s survivability in teamfights has been improved.

Passive (↑)

Healing Target: Heals the nearby allied hero with the lowest HP (including self) >> Heals self and the nearby allied hero with the lowest HP (excluding self)

Rafaela (Nerfed)

Devs have slightly reduced the resurrection frequency for Rafaela.

Passive (↓)

Base Cooldown: 45s >> 80s

Granger (Nerfed)

Granger is too strong during the laning phase when reaching level 4, so devs are nerfing him while increasing his gain on attack equipment.

Ultimate (↓)

Damage: 250-400 + 80% of Total Physical Attack >> 150-250 + 100% of Total Physical Attack

Selena (Nerfed)

Following the buff to her Skill 2 in Elven Form in the last patch, Selena’s Skill 1 and Skill combination became overly powerful. Therefore, devs have decided to revert some of the previous buffs.

Skill 2 (Elven Form) (↓)

  • Movement Speed Bonus Upon Hit: 60% >> 50%
  • Projectile Speed: 9 >> 8.5

Skill 1 (Abyssal Form) (↓)

All previous changes have been reverted.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.9.50 Update: Battlefield Changes

In the previous Advanced Server adjustments, devs have shortened the Lord’s respawn interval in the mid-to-late game. However, devs noticed that the Lord in this game phase is relatively easy to take down. Therefore, devs have made some additional adjustments.

Lord (Summoned) (Adjusted)

  • Summoned Lord’s HP Growth increased by 15%.
  • Summoned Lord’s Physical Defense Growth increased by 20%.

Equipment Adjustments

Cursed Helmet (Buffed)

Devs have noticed that this equipment has a low pick rate, with some heroes only purchasing its component, Molten Essence. Devs will aim to enhance the damage output of this equipment.

Unique Passive – Curse (New)

The Hybrid Defense of nearby targets by 10 is reduced.

Price (↓)

1760 >> 1910

Wishing Lantern (Adjusted)

Slightly reduced damage against high-HP heroes but added a minimum damage threshold, so this equipment can still deal damage when the enemy hero’s HP is low.

Unique Passive – Butterfly Goddess (~)
  • Percentage damage based on target’s current HP: 10% >> 8%
  • New Effect: Each Butterfly Goddess deals at least 50 Magic Damage.

Radiant Armor (Buffed)

Devs believe Radiant Armor’s passive effect provides sufficient protection against sustained damage from Mages when fully stacked. However, the current stacking efficiency is too slow, so devs would aim to improve it.

Unique Passive – Sacred Protection (↑)

Stack Cooldown: 0.6s >> 0.4s

Brute Force Breastplate (Buffed)

Based on player feedback, devs have cancelled the changes to the Passive “Brute Force”. However, devs aim to slightly enhance this equipment’s damage potential to make it more appealing to agile Fighters. The following changes are based on the Official Server.

Attributes (↓)

Physical Defense: 23 >> 20

Unique Passive – Brute Force (↑)

Adaptive Attack Per Stack: 6 >> 8
