Rather, over the past few weeks, Epic Games has re-released several classic skins back into the shop. For example, after six years, Renegade Raider returned, much to the dismay of long-time fans. Elsewhere, Starfire returned after more than 800 days, and after more than 900 days, Halo’s Master Chief returned.
Heck, even Goku’s iconic Flying Nimbus managed to return to the store after almost a similar period.
The return of these classic skins has given fans hope that other collaborations could make their way back into the game. And so, taking to Reddit, Fortnite fans discussed the skins they hope will return the most.
Anything Is Possible
Right off the rip, fans are hopeful that the Terminator skins could make their way back into the game, specifically the skin dedicated to T-800. That skin was originally released in 2021, and it last appeared in 2023.
“I miss the Terminator,” one user wrote. “Officially one of the best skins in the game.”
Elsewhere, fans pined for the return of the Street Fighter collaboration. “Chun-Li killed me today, and I was okay with that,” one user shared. “There are lots that I want, but SF is the top of my list.”
According to Fortnite.gg, we’re nearing 900 days since the last time the group of Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Co. were in the Fortnite shop.
Other notable highlights from fans include the likes of Aloy and Kratos, as well as Snake Eyes and Naruto. And, of course, no thread is complete without a joke or two, and one commenter highlighted how they want to see Snoop Dogg return. “You’re not gonna believe this,” one jokester wrote in response, with others pointing to the number of Snoop Dogg skins already present.
Given how things in the shop have gone over the past several weeks, it would appear that anything is possible. Ultimately, only time will tell what does return.
