It’s going to be a big year for Disney Lorcana, here are the new things we hope to see.
The reveal for Archazia’s Island, the first set of 2024, confirmed that it’d be coming at some point in March and feature Bolt as a Glimmer, while also hinting that some big new mechanics might be introduced to kick off another year of Lorcana. While we’re still waiting to find out whether we’ll be dual-coloured cards or a brand new type altogether, Ravensburger has given us some interesting new information about the set.
Lady & The Tramp Glimmers Are Coming To Lorcana In Its Next Set
During a livestream of the Disney Lorcana Challenge North American Championship in Anaheim, Ravensburger decided to drop a reveal for the game’s next set, which we’ve only seen very briefly in the past. The reveal showed a Dreamborn version of Lady from Lady & The Tramp, who appears to have a pirate vibe in her first appearance in the game.
Ravensburger confirmed that Lady won’t be the only character from Lady & The Tramp who is turned into a Glimmer in Archazia’s Island, which opens up the door for a bunch of Storyborn and Dreamborn cards based on the film’s characters. Tramp, Jock, Trusty, and even Stamp from the underrated sequel could all end up making appearances in the set, but we’ll have to wait and see who’s in the final roster.
Speaking of which, Ravensburger also confirmed when we can expect to get our hands on Archazia’s Island. As usual, there’ll be an earlier rollout for local game stores, Disney Stores, and Disney Parks, who will all get the set on March 7, while most other retailers and the online Disney Store will have Archazia’s Island up for sale on March 21.
