With so many free-to-play live service games coming to PC these days, new entries need to do a lot to succeed. Not only does the game need an incredibly strong foundation, but it has to keep iterating and evolving from the moment it’s made available. With Delta Force‘s colossal 2025 schedule, I’d say developer Team Jade understands what it needs to do to help the Escape From Tarkov and Battlefield rival succeed. That’s why a lot is coming to Delta Force this year, so buckle up.
Throughout 2025, Delta Force is going to be made up of four seasons. Each will feature another operator, weapons, attachments, gadgets, vehicles, new gameplay features, and maps for specific game modes. That’s not all though, because seasons one and four will also have what Team Jade calls “player mobility extensions” for the FPS game.
Each season will also have a theme, with the second focusing on night combat and a selection of nighttime versions of existing maps. Game director Shadow Guo adds that season three will have some sort of prison escape-style map, while the fourth will feature a warfare map “that will give you a sense of grandeur you’ve never felt in Delta Force before,” including earthquakes. Judging by the collapsed buildings in the art for the fourth season, it looks like chaos is going to reign down upon all of us.
It’s not all teases and good news, however, because we also learn that the mobile version of Delta Force has been pushed back into the summer of 2025. “The game is already running very well on mobile systems,” Guo says. “But we want to take the extra time to ensure it runs smoothly across a wide range of devices.”
Now’s also the perfect time to dive back into the game, as Team Jade has temporarily removed the Delta Force season pass EXP cap. So if you want to jump back into the game ahead of the next season, you can grind away at what Delta Force currently offers and get as many rewards as possible.
Speaking of the next season, Delta Force Season 2 is also going to be absolutely packed with new content. I’m talking about a new operator, more maps, extra guns, and even the game’s first PvE raid experience. Delta Force is starting 2025 off with a bang, and that trend is going to continue for the rest of the year.
While you wait for all the 2025 content to arrive, we’ve put together all the best Delta Force loadouts and Delta Force guns to give you an edge.
