There is simply too much noteworthy about Star Wars Outlaws’ premise to let it slip away into the past without a second chance in a new format.
Aspyr broke the news by releasing a new trailer for Jedi Power Battles, unveiling gameplay for Jar Jar Binks. The video showcased the iconic Gungan in action, taking on various enemies. While some fans might have unrealistically hoped for the character to use a red lightsaber and take on the infamous Darth Jar Jar persona from fan theories, he appears to attack with a large staff in the game. In addition, he features various chaotic voice lines that one would expect from the clumsy character. Jar Jar Binks will be playable at the launch of Jedi Power Battles on January 23, but fans can already pre-order the game.

These additions include some variety, like the recognizable Staff Tusken Raider and Rodian. Some droid types are also becoming playable, with Flame Droid, Destroyer Droid, and Rifle Droid joining the roster. In fact, Jar Jar Binks is not the first of his kind to be announced for the game, as the Gungan Guard is set to be playable as well.
