Dragon Ball DAIMA is barreling towards a collision between Dr. Arinsu and Earth’s heroes now that all three Demon Realm Dragon Balls have been collected, but they’re still a whole demon world apart. With Goku and Vegeta headed towards the First Demon World, Supreme Demon King Gomah decides to take drastic measures. After crash landing on a bizarre planet, Panzy and Bulma frantically try to get their plane back in the air as Goku and Vegeta fight their most surprising opponents yet in the latest episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA.

Everything in Dragon Ball DAIMA began when Gomah had Goku and friends shrunk back down to the size of children, but the Demon Realm Dragon Balls could be the key to reversing that and turning everyone back into their normal adult forms. Goku and Vegeta each defeated one of the Tamagamis in battle, and they even successfully passed their post-battle tests to earn the Demon Realm Dragon Balls. The group is trying to make it to the First Demon World for the final fight, but Dr. Arinsu has hatched her own plot. Majin Duu earned her the One-Star Demon Realm Dragon Ball, and double agent Glorio is exactly where she wants him.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Crash Lands on a Terrifying Planet

As the latest episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA begins, Supreme Demon King Gomah’s frustration over everyone else’s progress reaches a boiling point. Now aware that Vegeta has secured their second Demon Realm Dragon Ball and the group is headed towards the First Demon World, Gomah makes the drastic decision to disable the Warp-sama. Degesu is stunned, but he reluctantly follows the order and shuts it down along with all travel between Demon Realm worlds. Before they can even reach Warp-sama, the plane Goku and friends are flying in suffers an engine failure that forces them to crash-land on an unknown planet. As Panzy and Bulma get started on repairs, Neva suddenly has the horrified realization they’re on the Planet of Mega.

While Shin reveals that it’s home to the giants of Megath and is “the second most terrifying planet in the Demon Realm”, Glorio manages to slip away from the group to make contact with Dr. Arinsu and notify her that the Two-Star Demon Realm Dragon Ball has been secured. When Bulma asks about a glowing rock inside their plane, Panzy explains it’s actually a rare material called Majilite that can produce decades worth of power when it reacts with acidic water. Goku, of course, spends this time finding and eating a giant apple until a monstrous beast attacks. It’s a hamster. The bear-sized rodent barrels towards Goku who initially refuses to attack it, but a group of giant hamsters suddenly stampede in their direction.

Without hesitation, Vegeta starts striking and blasting hamsters until a distant boom causes the hamsters’ ears to perk up. Every hamster flees into the grass as Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo rush towards the sound to discover a Megath child so massive it makes them look like houseflies. The child takes a seat on a nearby stump to rest and snack on a fried kraken tentacle, and the group suddenly spots a massive puppy that could use their plane as a chew toy. While everyone attempts to hide after dodging falling pencils, the puppy sniffs them out. Chaos ensues and Glorio shoots the puppy while it’s chasing Goku, but that only causes it to chase Glorio. Vegeta uppercuts the puppy into the air to save Glorio, but it’s still unfazed and now barreling towards their shiny plane.

Realizing he won’t be able to get there in time, Goku unleashes a massive Kamehameha that hits the puppy right in the cheek and sends it flying. Panzy and Bulma manage to complete the repairs, but the enormous child has finally noticed them. As the group struggles to safely get the plane in the air, the Megath child has to contend with three of the most powerful flies it has ever seen. Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan Vegeta, and Piccolo narrowly fend off being swatted into oblivion by a ruler as they finally escape the child and its puppy. Once they’re safely back in the air, Neva reveals the one planet more terrifying than this is the Planet of Giga where everything is even bigger. Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 13, “Surprise”, wraps up as the group takes a moment to appreciate the wonder of the Demon Realm. One danger has been avoided, but Earth’s heroes will have to find a way to the First Demon World without the Warp-sama in the next chapter of Dragon Ball DAIMA.
