Fortnite Insiders Claim Devil May Cry Collab Is Coming

Summary

  • Fortnite insiders have claimed that a Devil may Cry corssover is in the works, and is coming soon.
  • Unfortunately, the details are pretty sparse, so we’ll have to wait and see whether Dante will be making his debut in Fortnite.

There are three inevitabilities in life – death, taxes, and Fortnite collaborations. Fortnite has had some pretty bizarre crossovers recently, ranging from Skibidi Toilet, to Mariah Carey, to Cyberpunk 2077, and the game doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down any time soon.

We’re less than two weeks into 2025, but we’ve already hearing whispers of some interesting collabs on the horizon. First, it was claimed by Fortnite insiders that several more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles skins are on the way, including Casey Jones and Bebop, while others are now claiming a Devil May Cry collaboration is in the works.

Fortnite insiders Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing are the two insiders that claim Devil May Cry is coming to Fortnite (then signal boosted by reliable insider Shiina). Both are fairly high-profile and have been accurate in the past, though the details of this particular crossover are still sparse. All that’s claimed is that a crossover is “coming soon”, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer before we get anything potentially concrete.

Male V’s somewhat controversial absence from Fortnite has finally been explained.

If it is real, then we can almost definitely assume that a Dante skin will be included, possibly along with someone like Vergil or Nero. There’s plenty of iconic weaponry from the series that would make good crossover items too, so it’s not exactly out of the realm of possibility. We also know that Capcom has supported Fortnite a lot in the past, with Street Fighter and Resident Evil crossovers, so they’re clearly in contact.

As for what else we could see in Fortnite in the future, the game’s latest player survey was released to the public the other day, and included the likes of The Simpsons, Kingdom Hearts, Red Dead Redemption, and even Pokemon. Suddenly, Devil may Cry doesn’t sound so farfetched now, does it?
