The highly awaited first-person tactical shooter Delta Force is all set to launch for mobile platforms following its PC release. Originally set to debut on January 20, 2025, the game was recently postponed to a Summer 2025 launch on Android and iOS. You can pre-register for Delta Force now on your respective app stores.

Delta Force is a modern take on the classic tactical shooter with no pay-to-win mechanics

Initially announced in 2023 as Operation Delta for multiple platforms, the game later underwent significant changes and rebranding. It became known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, with a focus on cross-platform tactical shooter gameplay for mobile, PC, and consoles.

The game saw extensive testing throughout 2024 as indicated in its testing roadmap, including a PC beta in China and a mobile beta in June in the same region before its launch in September and various hands-on events showcasing its gameplay and technical features. At the gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live, the title was officially rebranded to simply Delta Force.

Delta Force is a modern take on the classic tactical shooter, made for players who love teamwork and intense action. You can join massive 48-player battles, choose your role on the battlefield, and customize a wide range of real-world weapons to suit your style. The developers have also mentioned there’s no pay-to-win here.

For something more intense, the Operations mode lets you and your squad take on AI enemies, rival teams, and bosses to secure valuable loot. Plus, you can trade items with other players in the Auction House without spending real money. Whether you play on mobile or PC, your progress carries over thanks to cross-progression.

Pre-registration campaign is underway with a new round of mobile testing starting next month

At the time of writing, the game has already opened pre-registrations for both Android and iOS via the Google Play Store and App Store respectively. You can also access the game via the Google Play Games on PC. Upon doing the same, you will be notified once the game launches on the 24th of April, 2025, or if it opens pre-downloads early.

Although Delta Force was scheduled to launch in January 2025, the devs are taking this extra time to ensure the game runs smoothly across all tiers of mobile devices. A pre-registration campaign is currently underway fetching some good rewards with the devs starting a round of mobile testing in February 2025.
