Thus, I made this Cyber Rebellion beginners guide so that you can know the basics, and also included some tips for you to follow. These tips will help you to progress faster.

Apart from this beginner guide, do not forget to check our redeem codes guide for this game. Using the active codes will help you pick some freebies, keeping you a bit ahead of the other players. Let’s start with the gameplay basics and then we will know the beginner tips to utilize our effort in the right way.

Cyber Rebellion Gameplay Basics

Starting the game requires some basic knowledge of the gameplay system. You need to understand the heroes, their abilities, upgrade system, and formation basics so that you can win each level by utilizing our squad’s power. You’ll start under your captain to lead you through the fights. Using different class combatants will be the primary thing to set up your strategy and join the fights. Let’s know some of the basics of the game.

Hero Tiers

The Heroes in Cyber Rebellion are known as Combatants. Each hero has a basic form that can be upgraded to a new level, giving the particular hero new prosthetics and abilities. You begin from tier B with each hero. However, the game lets you reach level 20 quickly to unlock a few with their S-tier or SS-tier skills.

Unlocking the new tiers and upgrading the heroes will also impact their roles. Sometimes, a hero may get the role of an assaulter while a higher level may change the role to a destroyer. You need to upgrade the heroes and use them accordingly.

Hero Classes

It defines the roles of each combatant. There are four classes in the game. Let’s take a look at them.

  • Assault: These combatants are for single-target attacks. They don’t have any effect in a spread area but are useful to blow your final or initial damage. Combatants with one bullet icon are from this class.
  • Destroyer: Also assaulters with a few enhancements in their ability. These combatants can deal damage to several opponents at once.
  • Support: They’re healers in simple words. They can damage but are limited to a few numbers. Besides healing, they can buff the other squadmates, and also decrease nerf the enemy for a certain period.
  • Tank/Heavy: They are fronliners. Why so? Because these combatants will work as a shield to protect your formation and minimize the damage taking.

Fission System

The fission system is for upgrading your combatant to a new level. The game has a few characters but most of them have seven versions so collecting all the combatants will take you the whole game to complete. In the fission system, you can upgrade your combatants.

Fission items can be obtained by completing the Main Story. You can get it by completing some tasks, such as the CompCore store, Merit store, and other stores and modes. But the biggest source for free-to-play players is playing through the Main Story. To use the fission system to upgrade each combatant, you need ordinary fission material. These items are used for Combatant Fission modification.

Cyber Rebellion Beginners Guide: Tips to master every combat

Apart from the beginner guide which tells you how to get to know things in-game, you should utilize your time in the game efficiently. For this, here are a few tips you can follow.

1. Focus on the Main Quests first

You’ll see the main quest items on the top left corner of the screen. You should follow the main quests first to level up quickly. It will unlock the heroes and their abilities, so you can upgrade and form a better team. Fission abilities are where you upgrade your character tier. You can transfer all the skills to the upgraded character but it’s always better to have an upper-level character first. So, you need fission.

2. Master the basics of Team Building

It’s essential to know the team building formation, at least the basics of it when you start taking fights. I mean, it’s all about taking fights! As you keep pushing the levels, hero development will cross your path. But first, you need to understand the primary essentials of team formation and forget where you’ll put your heroes.

3. S-tier combatants and DPS are the key

You should focus on the S-tier characters first. See our tier list to know the ones. But, not every S-tier combatant is gonna help that much. So, go for utilizing the DPS combatants. They’ll give you a perfect headstart in each battle and also earn you the desired victory. The first fights will be easier to win and you’ll level up faster.

4. Initially, focus on how to level up and progress quickly

When you first enter the game as a new player, the first week is very important. If you can make use of this time and decide carefully, you will progress faster. So, account progression in the first week is crucial. Most of us start as free-to-play players so we heavily rely on the free items that the game gives.

You should refresh for the NeuroCon daily as they’re for use in the fights. You’ll be charged these items for each fight, so storing them is important. Besides, you should also try to collect as much as Supply Raid for Component Interface. There won’t be much currency to buy something special from the store, but you’ll try to buy the Perfect Skill Code.

Other Miscellaneous Tips

The Gacha system in this game is very unique considering its genre. There are some other ways to progress faster.

  • Raise your BR which includes increasing the combatant level and their Star level.
  • Level up faster. The only ways are to complete daily tasks and clear the main stage. Blitz Skill Code R&D or Daily Resources R&D can yield large amounts of leveling resources.
  • Commander EXP is important as it will help the whole squad in a fight. Completing Daily Tasks, HoloSim Challenge, Main Story, and Covert Ops will get you a lot of Commander EXP.
  • As mentioned earlier, get the NeuroCon from Daily Exchange, Daily Supply, SStandard Card, and Free Supply.
  • Obtaining resources is a must to progress further. Collect Tesseract, TacData, Basic Anima Chip, Component Interface, and Mod Component A.
  • Some players are recommended to use at the early stage of the game. They are: Erik- Death Eye, Rosa- Matrix Runner, Rick- Raiden, and Pastoral- Data Hub.
  • Read the game Manual. You can read it from Combatant List> Manual. As the game is huge, you will get everything to know altogether.

So, if you’re a beginner just starting this game, I hope the tips and guide will help you progress faster. You will be able to spend valuable items on necessary things. Follow these tips and enjoy the game!
