Back in October 2024, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched to rave reviews from both fans and critics. The latest Call of Duty title introduced a brand-new omnidirectional movement system and saw fans return to the iconic Black Ops series after a four-year break. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Point Out Announcement Screen Error
With Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 set to arrive later this month, fans are hopeful that the hit shooter will receive plenty of bug fixes. One of the latest issues is related to the game’s announcement message, which appears as soon as players load up Black Ops 6‘s multiplayer. In a new post on Reddit, user Shred22 pointed out that the image used for the announcement message hasn’t had the mouse cursor removed from when it was taken. The user noted that this is a “tiny issue” with Black Ops 6‘s quality control but “the list goes on,” before blasting the game as “sloppy all around.”
Plenty of other users chimed in by pointing out that there is a similar issue in various other parts of the game, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Zombies mode. Reddit user ByteStyles said that this “isn’t the only mouse on screen either,” before stating that there has been a mouse cursor present on Zombies’ intel screen ever since the game was released. While the issue might seem small, Reddit user OGAtlasHugged argued that the gaming community “shouldn’t defend shoddy craftsmanship and mistakes.” They went on to state that there is “no such thing as too small of an issue” and that mistakes like this should be fixed no matter what.
This is just one of the many issues players are having with the latest Call of Duty title. Earlier this week, players discovered another serious issue with a Black Ops 6 weapon blueprint, with many blasting it as “pay to lose.” The IDEAD store bundle features a weapon blueprint that is practically unusable due to the sheer number of effects that are shown when the user pulls the trigger. This blueprint is just one of many that feature similar issues that have yet to be rectified by Treyarch Studios.
