NetEase Games has surprised Marvel Rivals fans by including free skins for Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch in the battle pass for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. After ensnaring Doctor Strange in a trap, Dracula launches an attack on New York City, forcing The Fantastic Four to lead the fight against the iconic vampire. Gamers looking to jump into Season 1 of Marvel Rivals can do so between January 10 and April 11, 2025.

The newest season will see all four members of Marvel’s First Family join the game’s ever-expanding roster of characters. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman have joined Marvel Rivals with the launch of Season 1, but fans will have to wait for the game’s mid-season update to play Human Torch and The Thing. While unconfirmed, leakers have claimed that Human Torch will be a Duelist while The Thing will add another Vanguard to Marvel Rivals.

NetEase Games showcases the hero shooter’s Darkhold battle pass leading up to the release of Marvel Rivals’ Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.

Players looking for free cosmetics in Marvel Rivals will have the opportunity to earn skins for Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch without purchasing the luxury version of the battle pass for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. While players can unlock the full battle pass for 990 Lattice, which roughly translates to $10, there are plenty of cosmetics players can claim for free by completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens. Peni Parker’s Blue Tarantula skin can be found on page three of the battle pass sporting a sky blue and stark white color scheme on both her suit and her mech. The hero does not have an accompanying emote or MVP animation within the pass.

Marvel Rivals Players Can Earn Free Skins for Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch’s Emporium Matron skin can be found on page nine of the battle pass. The hero wears a crimson dress with purple accents and a somewhat cosmic animation on the front. While players can also claim an emote for Scarlet Witch for free, they will need to buy the luxury version of the pass if they want to claim the accompanying MVP animation. Season 1 also includes a Midnight Features event where players can earn a free skin for Thor in Marvel Rivals by completing quests.

In addition to free cosmetics, Marvel Rivals has released new skins for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic into the game’s shop. Both outfits give the heroes a villainous makeover. Invisible Woman’s skin, Malice, features a black and red color scheme with spikes and leather straps along her shoulders and face. Mister Fantastic’s skin, The Maker, is a sleek dark gray with blue highlights and a mask that covers most of his face. With so much new content to explore, many fans have expressed enthusiasm about Marvel Rivals‘ latest season.
