How To Get The Compound Bow In Palworld

In Palworld, as your level increases, exploring becomes essential to recruit more functional and powerful Pals to your team. Your team of Pals is indispensable for your survival. However, it’s not entirely fair—or even a good strategy—to expect them to do everything. You need to be as strong as your Pals.

Here is how you get the Metal Detector in Palworld.

For this reason, you must continuously upgrade your equipment. Make sure to equip yourself with the best weapons and armor suitable for your level. Otherwise, the challenges you face may become overwhelming. In this guide, we’ll cover how to obtain one of the powerful weapons, the Compound Bow.

How To Get The Compound Bow

The player is checking the recipe of the Compound Bow from Technology tab in Palworld.

Compound Bow is an impressive long-range weapon with 1100 Attack power. To obtain it, the first thing you need to do is reach level 32. Once you reach level 32, you can unlock the blueprint for this weapon for three Technology Points.

After unlocking the Compound Bow blueprint, you will need a crafting station to create it. Unfortunately, it cannot be crafted at just any crafting station. Here are the crafting stations that allow you to craft it:

The player is crafting the Compound Bow with Poduction Assembly Line II in Palworld.

Additionally, you will need certain materials to craft the Compound Bow. The table below shows the materials required for crafting this weapon:

However, you don’t necessarily have to reach level 32 to craft the Compound Bow; there is a low chance you can find its schematic. You can find the schematic in two ways:

  • At the end of Level 29 Dungeons.
  • In chests requiring a Gold Key in areas between levels 20 and 30.

Don’t forget that to use the Compound Bow, you will need Reinforced Arrows as ammo.

How To Obtain Resources For The Compound Bow

The player is preparing 50 Ingots with Improved Furnace in Palworld.

If you are having trouble finding the required materials for the Compound Bow, the table below explains how to obtain them:

Material

How To Get

50 Ingot

To obtain Ingots, you need to refine Ore
. For the 50 Ingots required for the Compound Bow, you will need 100 Ore. You can farm Ore easily by visiting areas on the map with abundant Ore or by setting up a base there. Mining-capable Pal companions can help make this process easier. Additionally, if you are level 24 or higher, you can set up an Ore Mining Site at your base, eliminating the need to search for Ore. Once you have enough Ore, refine it in a furnace to convert it into Ingots.

40 Fiber

The easiest way to obtain 40 Fiber is by using a Crusher
. Simply place 20 Wood into the Crusher to get the Fiber you need. Fiber can also be obtained from Pals like Hangyu
or Hoocrates
, but the Crusher will significantly simplify the process.

20 Nail

To craft Nails, you will need additional Ingots. At any Workbench, you can use 10 Ingots to craft 20 Nails.

How To Get Reinforced Arrows

The player is checking the Reinforced Arrow's recipe from Technology tab in Palworld.

Reinforced Arrows are the ammunition required for the Compound Bow. Like the Compound Bow itself, you must unlock the blueprint for these arrows when you reach level 32. The blueprint costs only one Technology Point. Reinforced Arrows can be crafted at any Workbench, and they are fairly easy to make, requiring minimal materials.

However, if you struggle to gather Ore, they might be costly for you. Reinforced Arrows are crafted in sets of three, and the required materials are as follows:

Material

Ingot

Stone

If you own a Pal Labor Research Laboratory, you can find research under the Handiwork research subject that allows you to produce more ammo or increases the Handiwork work speed of your ammo-producing Pal companions.
