It’s time for Pokemon Go’s annual Fashion Week Event, an event centered around stylish, costumed Pokemon. In addition to these event-exclusive Pokemon, there will be several bonuses and features added to the game during this event, in addition to a couple of Pokemon Go debuts.

This year’s Fashion Week Event will last for over a week, spanning from Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10am local time to Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8pm local time. There will be both new and returning event features for the 2025 Fashion Week Event; read on for all the information you need to make the most of them.
Pokemon Go Debuts
There will be two costumed Pokemon making their debuts with this year’s Fashion Week Event. This includes both Minccino wearing a fashionable costume and its evolution, Cinccino also wearing a fashionable costume.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to encounter and catch Minccino wearing a fashionable costume through its own One-Star Raid. After catching this costumed Pokemon, you will have the option of evolving it into Cinccino, keeping its costume.
Event Bonuses
There will be two event bonuses active throughout this event, available to all players who play during the event window. This includes:
- Double the Stardust for catching any Pokemon.
- Double the chance of receiving Candy XL for catching Pokemon (Trainer Level 31 and higher).
Additionally, there will be five Pokemon that will have increased odds of being Shiny during this event. Each of these Pokemon are provided for you below.

- Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume
- Minccino wearing a fashionable costume

Wild Encounter Pokemon
There will be several event-themed Pokemon appearing in the wild during this event. Make sure to log in and participate in this event for a chance to encounter and catch the following seven Pokemon:

- Blitzle wearing a fashionable costume
- Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume
- Skitty
- Buneary
- Furfrou
- Bruxish

There will also be different event-themed Pokemon appearing in both One-Star and Three-Star Raids during the 2025 Fashion Week Event. Each of these Pokemon, most being event-exclusive costumed Pokemon, can be found below with their Raid tier.

Event Research
Paid Timed Research
You will have the option of purchasing Timed Research for the 2025 Fashion Week Event, available for purchase at the Pokemon Go in-game shop for $5.00 USD. Completing the tasks for this Timed Research will reward you with the following:
- Fashion Week-themed Avatar pose
- Fashion Week-themed Pokemon encounters
- 3,500 Stardust
- 3,500 XP
Field Research Tasks
Spinning different PokeStop Photo Discs during this year’s Fashion Week Event will provide you with Event Field Research Tasks. Collect and complete these tasks to earn XP, Stardust, and event-themed Pokemon encounters.
Event Collection Challenge
There will be an Event Collection Challenge available for all players to complete during this event. Catch specific event-themed Pokemon to complete this, rewarding you with an encounter with Shinx wearing a fashionable costume and XP.
