I am happy that the only card that saw a price increase is the RTX 5090. I am looking at building a PC featuring the RTX 5070 either at the end of the year or early next year. It is possible to get something just a little over $1000 today so the prices may improve down the line.
The only negative I see here is that Nvidia has secured their dominance for the next 2 years because all the other AI frame gen tech are trying to compete with Nvidia’s last-gen dlss and not the new multi-frame gen. With the RTX 5070 being priced at $549, AMD cannot price their RX 9070 anywhere near that.
