The best-selling manga series in December of 2024 is none other than Jujutsu Kaisen. This isn’t too surprising, however, seeing that this widely popular story has now come to an end. Jujutsu Kaisen’s final volume dropped in December, which explains these very high sales. This final volume also featured a brand-new epilogue.
The total sales for December that Jujutsu Kaisen had was 1,836,843 copies.
The 2nd to 5th Most Sold Manga Series in December 2024
My Hero Academia Ranks Up There
The second most-sold manga in December 2024 was My Hero Academia, a popular series by Kohei Horikoshi. Just like Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia recently came to an end, and that definitely helped boost volume sales. The final volume of MHA also had a pretty significant epilogue. It sold 1,182, 751 copies.
In third place, it’s Dandadan. Dandadan has been one of the newest anime hits. Its manga sales were brought up thanks to its very successful anime adaptation that was airing recently. With that, Dandadan sold 772,790 copies.
In 4th place, Blue Lock is one of the top series with the most sold copies in December 2024. Blue Lock has been a very popular series, despite its anime adaptation taking a nose dive in quality. It ended up selling 587,071 copies.
In 5th place, it’s Kingdom. Kingdom has always been one of the best-performing mangas, and it has been for a while. It managed to keep its popularity up over the years, and this December sold a total of 473,992 copies.
The Rest of the Top 10
With the top 5 out of the way, the other 5 mangas in the top 10 did pretty well for themselves.
The 6th placed manga was Oshi No Ko. Just like Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia, it ended recently, which definitely helps with its sales.
Blue Box, which recently got an anime, makes it to the 7th spot.
The Apothecary Diaries takes 8th place as one of the most successful manga right now. Its new anime season in 2025 is highly anticipated.
Chainsaw Man’s latest release saw to it that it takes the 9th spot.
Finally, the 10th manga in December 2024 was Kagurabachi.
