New year, a new season! COD Mobile is back again with a refreshing new season update for us players, with Season 1 in 2025. Titled the “Wings of Vengeance”, this update brings three new Multiplayer modes, themed events, and more. Kicking off on January 15, 2025, at 4 PM PT, let me share all the details you need to know about the new season.

COD Mobile Season 1 2025: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
Battle Pass Free Tiers
The Wings of Vengeance Battle Pass introduces the fully automatic XM4 Assault Rifle, offering versatile performance with good damage, fast fire rate, and reliable control. You can also unlock the Control Field Operator Skill, a dual-purpose ability that prevents enemy health regeneration while boosting healing for you and your allies. Additional free-tier rewards include Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Vault Coins, and other valuable items.
Premium Pass Tiers
By purchasing the Premium Pass, you gain access to exclusive content such as Operator Skins like Lustre – Jingwei, Kryptis – Wrought, and Anna – Adamantine. The pass also includes Weapon Blueprints, including the QQ9 – Viridian Idol, Holger 26 – Stone Tiger, JAK-12 – Etched Burst, ZRG 20mm – Unlimited Saber, and XM4 – Imperial Defender.
Subscribers to the Ground Forces Battle Pass receive monthly rewards, including the Bulldozer – Red Panda Operator Skin and other bonuses like Player and Weapon XP boosts, discount coupons, and limited-time crate discounts.
Challenge Pass
You can engage with the Season 1 Challenge Pass by completing Standard, Special, and Elite Missions to earn Challenge Tokens. These tokens can be used in the Exchange to unlock items, including a new skin for the Attack Helicopter Scorestreak. Seasonal Missions and rewards can be tracked via the in-game Events tab, while the Mission Board provides an overview of ongoing activities throughout the season.
Three new Multiplayer Modes join the action
Parkour Chase
Challenge your reflexes in Parkour Chase, a new virtual-themed map filled with obstacles for both solo and multiplayer races. With various difficulty levels, you can test your skills, complete challenges, and earn rewards. Cross the finish line first to claim the title of the ultimate winner.
Carnival Shootout
Step into the Carnival Shootout, a new 5v5 map and mode that puts your target shooting skills to the test. Using pistols and melee weapons, earn points by hitting targets of varying sizes. While primary weapons won’t damage enemy players, Operator Skills can turn the tide.
Players are occasionally teleported to the other side to disrupt the opposing team. Use your melee weapon to knock them off balance before returning to your team to continue the shootout. Look out for buffs like BR Class Effects, Operator Skills, or random perks like Unlimited Ammo to gain the upper hand.
Tank Battleground
Engage in an intense 8v8 slugfest in the new Tank Battleground Ground War map. Take control of one of two tank types and battle it out for supremacy. Collect buffs from fixed locations to gain temporary advantages to help you win battles.
New Themed Events, Earnable Rewards, and Store Update
Secret Caches
The Secret Caches system brings daily opportunities to unlock unique rewards and enhance your legacy in Call of Duty: Mobile. Integrated with Challenge HQ, this system offers short, mid, and long-term tasks and challenges for all of you.
Throughout the season, you can earn new cosmetics, camos, and legendary items like the Legendary Melee Stun Baton and Mythic AK117 – Lava Remix, earned by collecting fragments from challenges completed over multiple seasons.
Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day events
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with special events offering Year of the Snake-themed rewards. Participate daily by logging in and completing various tasks in Multiplayer and Battle Royale playlists to earn long-term rewards. In mid-February, the Valentine’s Day-themed event invites you to combine love and war with exciting rewards for participation.
New Mythic Operator and Weapon, Double CP Event
A new Mythic Operator Skin for Sophia arrives, featuring black spiked armor and a ragged cape, with a redeemable upgrade to include a halo and transparent wings. The draw also includes her weapon, the CBR4 – Faithful Dawn, a Legendary/Mythic Weapon Blueprint.
Introducing the Mythic XM4 – Luminescent Jade, a weapon with intricate white metal and immense power, visually charging and discharging its energy with each elimination. Also featured in this draw is the Spectre – Revenant Shade Operator Skin, designed in a techno samurai style. Other lucky draws include a new Operator Skin for Naga and a Koshka Sniper Rifle Weapon Blueprint.
From January 16 to February 19, a Double CP Event offers double the COD Points for specific tiers, limited to one purchase per COD Point tier. Keep an eye on the event icon to know which purchases qualify.
