Amazon Prime Subscribers Can Claim 16 Free Games Throughout January 2025

There tend to be two reasons people subscribe to Amazon Prime – fast and cheaper deliveries and its streaming service. However, something more subscribers should be taking advantage of is the games Amazon gives to its subscribers each month. A little later than usual due to the holidays, but Amazon has revealed the 16 games subscribers can claim for free throughout January 2025, and some of them are available now.

The list of games included in Prime Gaming’s monthly giveaway in January was detailed in a new blog post. The first five are available to claim right now, one of which is the biggest of the 16 – BioShock 2 Remastered. Odd that Amazon has started in the middle of the trilogy as it tends to give one game per series away each month with older trilogies like BioShock. It recently did exactly that with some older Tomb Raider games.

If you’re not ready to return to BioShock, or you’ve never played because you have no interest, there are four other games you can claim for no additional charge right now if you’re subscribed to Prime. Joining the BioShock sequel in Prime Gaming’s first January drop are SkyDrift Infinity, Eastern Exorcist, The Bridge, and Spirit Mancer.

As is usually the case with Amazon’s monthly games, more will arrive with each passing week throughout the month. Three more games will join Prime Gaming’s January haul on the 16th, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech the biggest of that particular trio. A week after that on January 23 Deus Ex’s Game of the Year Edition is the pick of another five-strong bunch, and then three more games round out the month on January 30 with Super Meat Boy Forever leading the way. If January feels like a slightly scaled-back month for Prime Gaming, that might be because December was a big one. On top of the usual games given away, additional titles connected to Secret Level episodes were also up for grabs. As was the case with those and the other December games, this isn’t the same as games you can play on Game Pass and PS Plus. Prime Gaming’s free titles are yours to keep forever once you’ve downloaded them, even if your subscription lapses.
