Palworld doesn’t have many types, but understanding their advantages can give you the upper hand. It doesn’t take long to learn, and generally, there’s a type effective against each one. You might feel like there aren’t enough types, likely due to the abundance of bug-like Pals, most of which are Grass types. A dedicated type for them might have been better.
One of the most impressive bug-like Pals in Palworld is Warsect Terra. Resembling Hercules beetles, this majestic Pal is a great addition to your team. This guide will help you catch one!
Where To Find Warsect Terra
While normal Warsects are both Ground and Grass types, Warsect Terra is exclusively a Ground-type. According to its Palpedia entry, this Hercules beetle-like Pal is said to have extremely tough armor and is heat-resistant.
Warsect Terras can be found on Feybreak Island, located in the southwestern part of the map. Similar to other Pals on the island, Warsect Terra is above level 50. This dangerous Pal is found only in the orange-colored soil areas to the east of Feybreak Island. The region around the Loess Plains fast travel point is the best place to encounter them.
Using Grass-type Pals will give you a significant advantage when battling them. To capture Warsect Terra easily, approach it from behind and use an Ultimate Sphere or Exotic Sphere. Additionally, modules with a capture strength of three, such as Slider Module, Sniper Module II, or Homing Module, will improve your chances of success.
Avoid using Electric and Water-type Pals against Warsect Terra, as they are at a disadvantage against its Ground and Grass-type skills.
How To Breed Warsect Terra
Another way to obtain Warsect Terra is through eggs. If you find a

, there’s a chance it will contain a Warsect Terra. However, for a more reliable method, you can use the

When you catch or defeat Warsect Terra, it drops only

Partner Skill & Work Suitability

Additionally, it reduces damage taken from Fire-type attacks, making it highly valuable against challenging raid bosses like Blazamut Ryu. If you can’t find Warsect Terra, the Hard Armor Partner Skill of a regular 
Warsect
provides the same effect and is a viable alternative.

Its level three mining and transporting abilities make Warsect Terra a valuable addition to your base. While its Handiwork level is only one, it’s better to rely on other Pals for such tasks.
With the ‘Remarkable Craftsmanship’ Passive Skill, Warsect Terra’s work speed increases by 75 percent, making it incredibly effective in your base. However, if you plan to use it while exploring, the ‘Mine Foreman’ Passive Skill is equally beneficial, increasing your mining efficiency by 25 percent.
Where To Find Alpha Boss Warsect Terra
If you’re looking to take on a greater challenge, the Alpha Boss Warsect Terra is an excellent target. This powerful variant can be found in the same general area as the regular Warsect Terras, specifically at coordinates -1022, -1447.
Unlike its standard counterparts, the Alpha Boss is a formidable level 59, so careful preparation is essential. Its increased strength and durability make it a dangerous opponent, so approach with caution. To gain an edge in this fight, it’s strongly recommended to assemble a team of Grass-type Pals.
These Pals will exploit Warsect Terra’s weaknesses, giving you a much-needed advantage in battle. Conversely, avoid using Electric and Water-type Pals, as they will be at a significant disadvantage against its Ground and Grass type attacks.
Ensure your Grass-type Pals are at least level 60 to stand a better chance. Pals like Quivern Botan, Mammorest, and Shroomer are excellent choices for this battle. If you wish to capture the Alpha Boss, having a Pal with the Mercy Hit Passive Skill or equipping the Ring of Mercy item will make the task significantly easier.
