How to Start Treasures in the Painting Quest in Wuthering Waves
To start the Treasures in the Painting quest, players must head to the Resonance Beacon located just outside Egla Town in Whisperwind Haven. From there, go up the steps on the east side of the beacon until you reach the final set of steps. Nearby, players will find a grassy area where an NPC named Claudia is painting on a canvas by the cliffside. Ensure your in-game clock is set between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM (06:00–17:00), as Claudia leaves the area at night.
Speak to Claudia to initiate the hidden side quest. During the conversation, Claudia will mention that the player reminds her of their Sentinel and will gift them one of her paintings. After the dialogue, the quest will update, tasking players with finding the real-world location that inspired Claudia’s painting.
How to Complete Treasures in the Painting Quest in Wuthering Waves
The location depicted in Claudia’s painting is a tower to the south, visible from her cliff. The tower is situated on a small island in Thorncrown Rises, within Thessaleo Fells. Players can use the Echo Challenge: Flight II teleport point to reach the top of the tower easily. Alternatively, the Command Rise teleport point—unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Towers exploration quest—can be used to access the base of the tower.
From the top, players can glide down one section of the tower to reach the marked location. If starting from the bottom, players can use the Flight utility tool, introduced in Version 2.0, to ascend the tower. Once at the marked location, stand on it to make a Standard Supply Chest appear. Open the chest to complete Treasures in the Painting and earn the achievement Lost Glory.
