The Release Special Booster 2.0 brought many pricey cards to the Digimon Card Game. These are the most expensive ones.
Even though the set has a ton of new and exciting cards, not all of them are meta contenders, but the few that are playable in competitive settings, will be pillars in the meta for many sets to come. Be sure to grab these cards if you’re aiming to be the best Tamer in the world.

LordKnightmon (X Antibody)
The X Antibody Will Destroy Everything
LordKnightmon was a popular deck back in BT5 Battle Of Omni but in a different flavor. The deck revolved around playing multiple bodies while reducing your opponent’s Digimon’s DP. It had access to great removal Options like Spiral Masquerade and was an extremely offensive deck.
This time around, the X Antibody uses the powerful purple cards to strengthen the Royal Knight. While maintaining a similar playstyle, LordKnightmon now plays Digimon from the trash while controlling your opponent’s board with the new Collision keyword.

LordKnightmon
The Most Beautiful Royal Knight
On paper, the regular copy of LordKnightmon is not as great as the X Antibody version, but it is still a necessary piece to build a menacing board against your opposing Tamer. Coupled with powerful level four Digimon like Deltamon, or strong floodgates like Gazimon or Psychemon, this LordKnightmon can set up incredible boards that will be difficult to crack.
The deck can set up a defensive wall with retaliation, but with the help of LordKnightmon’s second effect, you can also redirect attacks to any Royal Knight to protect your precious security.

Lucemon (X Antibody)
The Fallen Angel, Now Even Better
Lucemon is the closest thing to a burn deck that you can play in the Digimon Card Game. The deck aims to burn their own security cards while burning your opponent’s as well. Lucemon (X Antibody) even comes with a built-in protection effect that will prevent it from leaving the battle area by burning both players’ security.

Make the most of this Shoto-centric set.
It may seem counterproductive to burn your life away, but at the end of your turn, Lucemon will be able to clear your opponent’s board by burning them even more.
7
Huankunmon
Unblockable Mirage Stacks
Even though an arguably better Huankunmon was released in Infernal Ascension, this BT18 version is just as good in different situations. This Huankunmon will not let your MirageGaogamon unsuspend for extra attacks, but it can make your attacks unstoppable.
This version of Huankunmon will make your Digimon unable to be deleted by battle, giving you an invincible blocker while you find the rest of your Mirage pieces. Don’t worry though, with a consistent deck like that, you’ll find them soon enough.
6
Koichi Kimura
Fill Your Trash Easily
Most four-cost tamers are usually memory setters, meaning they will set your memory marker to three at the start of your turn, but Koichi Kimura is closer to most three-cost tamers in effect. Koichi will give you an extra memory at the start of your turn at the cost of one Hybrid card from your hand.
It may seem not very cost-effective, but Purple Hybrid decks look to fill up their trash as fast as possible since they can easily recycle their cards with Koichi’s inheritable effect.
5
Takyua Kanbara & Koji Minamoto
Double Tamer For Double Power
There aren’t many five-cost tamers in the Digimon Card Game, but the few that exist have extremely powerful effects. Takuya Kanbara & Koji Minamoto is one of those coveted tamers. Not only is it a memory setter tamer, which most decks gladly welcome, but it can also add Hybrid Digimon from your trash to the bottom of the Tamer.

Digimon Card Game: 10 Most Valuable Cards From EX7 Digimon Liberator
EX7 Digimon Liberator has some beautiful cards, so let’s look at their value.
This doesn’t seem like much, but for decks like MagnaGarurumon, Susanoomon, and Red Hybrid, all of the extra inherited effects are a much-welcome addition.
4
Velgrmon
Mill Your Opponent’s Deck
Velgrmon is the piece you’ll need if you’re looking to quickly mill out your opponent. Not only will this card mill a couple of cards from your opponent’s deck, but by deleting another level four Digimon, you’ll be able to delete all of their lowest levels, setting up some creative plays.
With that effect, Velgrmon can delete your opponent’s Digimon or even your own, targeting itself, to cycle into more Digimon and Tamers from the trash with its On Deletion effects. Just be careful when fighting other purple decks.
3
Duskmon
One Of The Best Hybrids
Duskmon is one of the best hybrid Digimon in the game; its effect is one of the most unique ones, too. Duskmon can change the color of one Digimon or Tamer until the end of the turn.
This card, combined with Velgrmon, can mill your opponent’s deck while attacking with a massive DP Digimon. Even if Velgrmon’s DP can’t clear a security battle, Duskmon’s inherited effect will let you recycle one of your tamers from underneath this Digimon.
2
ShadowSeraphimon ACE
One Of The Best Control Tools
ShadowSeraphimon has been a boogeyman for many players who have faced Security Control decks, but now, with this ACE card and Mother D-Reaper, this version of the Seraph is out of control.
The deck usually plays a ton of black and yellow level five Digimon, making it easy for ShadowSeraphimon ACE to come out of nowhere and DeDigivolve your opponent’s Digimon. Paired with the Mother D-Reaper and Shoto combo, your ShadowSeraphimon ACEs minus DP ability will always trigger.
1
Shamanmon
Finally A Floodgate For Red
Floodgates in the Digimon Card Game are not too difficult to get rid of, but it forces your opponent to target their removal if they want to get anything done. Not every color has them, but after Release Special Booster 2.0, red now has a memory gain floodgate in the shape of a mischievous little goblin.
Shamanmon will prevent your opponent from gaining memory other than by Tamer effects. With decks like LordKnightmon and Fenriloogamon running around, this floodgate will find itself in plenty of decks.
