The popular cleaning sim PowerWash Simulator is getting even more new content with an upcoming collaboration with the iconic animated franchise Wallace and Gromit, bringing brand-new maps full of references to the series. Currently, there is no official release date or pricing information for the upcoming PowerWash Simulator DLC, but the Steam page for the pack seems to imply a planned release in March.

Simulation games are widely popular, providing unique avenues of gameplay ranging from driving to taking care of household chores. Titles like American Truck Simulator turn everyday tasks into score-based video games. PowerWash Simulator is no exception, putting players in the shoes of the owner of a power washing business and tasking them with cleaning dirt and grime off of various items and locations.

Now, fans of the game will have even more content after developer FuturLab shared a short trailer for an upcoming DLC based on Wallace and Gromit, bringing some new levels with it. The new DLC will reportedly feature new maps based on the titular protagonists’ house from the popular films, along with several other locations full of objects and references from the franchise overall.

New PowerWash Simulator DLC Is A Unique Collaboration

As of right now, there is no strict release date for the upcoming collaboration with the famous Wallace and Gromit studio, with the Steam page for the DLC revealing a launch window in March without any more specific information. In any case, though, the pack seems to be going all in on the aesthetics, as it even features alternate costumes and powerwasher skins for players to immerse themselves in the world of the animated films.

This is far from the first pop culture collaboration the game has done, either, as there have been several PowerWash Simulator DLCs based on series like Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider in the past, among several others. Developer FuturLab even frequently releases free content packs for the game offering brand-new levels and items, such as last year’s holiday pack.

In fact, Wallace and Gromit studio Aardman Animations has a history with video games as well, with multiple video game tie-ins having released based on its films, and several of its characters showing up in other titles. Most recently, the studio announced that it is set to produce a Pokemon project in its signature animation style, with a release window currently set for 2027, giving gaming and stop-motion fans even more to look forward to.
