Orb: On the Movement of the Earth will return with its second cour on Saturday, 11, 2025. The first cour comprised 15 episodes, so the next will have 10, bringing the overall count to 25. Orb: On the Movement of the Earth also revealed two new cast members for the anime.
Miyuri Shimabukuro and Satoshi Hino will join the cast for the upcoming cour. The main voice cast for the anime will reprise their roles.

Orb: On the Movement of the Earth is based on the manga of the same name, written by Uoto. It began serializing in the Weekly Big Comic Spirits in September 2020, and it came to an end in April 2022. The manga has been nominated for several awards, some of which it has won. The sales of the manga are unknown, but it might have easily sold over 1 million copies.
Orb: On the Movement of the Earth’s anime adaptation was announced in June 2022. After waiting for over a year, the anime ultimately aired in October 2024. The first opening, Kaiju, was performed by Sakanaction, while the ending was performed by Yorushika. The new ending for the second cour is titled Hebi, and it is also performed by Yorushika.
