There will be a Fortnite update next week. Epic Games had been off for the holiday season, so there weren’t many updates or leaks about what was coming next. They have finally returned and will once again be updating the game frequently and ensuring it is the best product for the community. That begins next week with the first weekly patch in a little while. Ahead of that, leakers have uncovered what the update will bring to the table.

What Next Week’s Fortnite Update Will Add
According to popular leaker HYPEX, a lot is planned for next week. Since it’s the first substantial patch in a while, it’s no surprise that Epic is getting in high gear for the next Fortnite update. Hatsune Miku, the long-awaited singer Icon Skin, is finally going to arrive. She’ll be the headlining artist for Fortnite Festival Season 7, and she’s going to have an alternate skin (in total, six styles will be added) available immediately in the Item Shop.
To that end, her jam tracks, stage items, and other cosmetics will be added. Epic Games may also have some Mythic or other items for Miku in Battle Royale. This next update will also be the Godzilla update. Epic is set to add Godzilla as a boss on the island and add some items for his debut. You can get his skin on the battle pass on January 14, too.
The update is also adding King Kong to the island. He will also be a boss like his Kaiju counterpart. It is expected that he will get a skin in the Item Shop, too. Items, including melee ones like the Kinetic Blade, may be added to the loot pool for the monkey as well. This might possibly include his battle axe.
Finally, the Demon Slayer collaboration is expected to arrive. This was leaked and then confirmed at the outset of Chapter 6, and it’s finally going to be available in-game. On that note, other collabs for future Item Shop updates are likely to be uncovered when new files are added to the game. Those, and this information, are Fortnite leaks, though.
