Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Gets Release Date

The current Fortnite season has taken us into a brand-new map. While exciting, the first season of a Chapter is always just the starting point. We have multiple seasons to build on that map and base of weapons, to build something special. Looking ahead, we can already start thinking about part of that as we’ve gotten the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 release date!

Early Fortnite leaks sometimes tease content way ahead of time. That’s partially what we’ve seen this week, as Fortnite leakers have confirmed the schedule for upcoming Fortnite seasons. We now have the rough release for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3. In terms of actual content, we know very little. However, these latest leaks confirm our schedule for the rest of the year. They also point towards something a bit quicker in 2025.

The current schedule currently lines up with getting the second half of this season in the summer. The Summer seasons have been a bit notorious lately for introducing bizarre under-developed mechanics. From the car season to a Jungle biome that was a death trap. An earlier start to Chapter 6 Season 3 might mean we’re avoiding that this time.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Release Date Confirmed By Leakers

As well as finding unreleased Fortnite skins and other fun hints at what’s coming next, Fortnite leaks always know a bit more about when new content is coming. Thanks to updates being added to staging servers and other indications. Most recently, we’ve gotten a look at plans a few seasons away, with the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 release date revealed.

The third season of Fortnite Chapter 6 will be released on May 2nd! This is after a second season for the Chapter that begins when the current Fortnite season ends.

By the looks of this, we’ll be progressing through Battle Royale seasons a little quicker than we have done in the past. Reaching the fourth season of the Chapter a little ahead of the normal schedule. This could mean a quicker Chapter handover this time, or potentially that we might finally get more than four seasons out of a map again.

Since Chapter 3, each has only run for four. In some cases, it cuts off a map that’s become more of a problem. But in others, it can mean we get very little time with an island and weapons compared to earlier Fortnite seasons. With Chapter 6 Season 3 release date scheduled for May, we could be through the standard 4 quicker than we expected.
