Fortnite: Best Prop Hunt Maps

Fortnite doesn’t just offer its players a battle royale experience with great replay value. The third-person shooter also grants players access to a Creative mode, in which they can create their own maps and game modes. These Creative maps vary in all sorts of ways, but there is one Fortnite Creative games that has been one of the most popular since Creative mode dropped: Prop Hunt.

Prop Hunts in Fortnite are reminiscent of the Prop Hunt mode in Garry’s Mod. There are plenty of Prop Hunt maps in Fortnite’s Creative section that will give players a different experience with each map they play.

It provides a fun experience for players to enjoy with their squadmates as well as other players in public lobbies. It’s been a while since this list’s last update, so we decided to add some more entries so gamers can try some new prop hunt games in Fortnite.

Horror House Prop Hunt

The Horror House Prop Hunt map gained some fan momentum during Fortnitemares, but that doesn’t mean gamers should stop playing it once spooky season is over. This island has a lot to offer. The best part about Horror House Prop Hunt is the fake props that move around from time to time; these can really throw gamers off, as they’ll start shooting at the props before realizing it’s not actually a hidden player.

Unfortunately, the timer for hunters to begin looking for props is quite short, which means gamers will most likely have to hide as some of the first objects that they come across.

Funfair – Prop Hunt

Funfair – Prop Hunt is one of the newer maps on this list to hit the Creative directory since UE5 dropped for players to utilize. In this prop hunt map, fans can wander around a huge amusement park full of hundreds of props to use and camouflage with.

Not only can players locate dozens upon dozens of hiding spots, but the attractions in this Funfair amusement park are all accessible, making a terrific way to pass the time while hiding. Up to 30 players can fit on this map, which is fairly large for a prop hunt game mode.

Metro Prop Hunt

This Metro Prop Hunt is reminiscent of older Fortnite maps where fans could disguise themselves as various items around different locations. But, Metro Prop Hunt ensures new features with UE5 and a map that feels fresh.

Metro Prop Hunt takes players exactly where the title suggests: a metro. In this metro, fans can locate different shops, trains, and more to find different items and hide away from the opposing team. Metro is excellent for smaller groups of players, as the map can hold up to 16 players, and is wonderful overall for smaller groups in a full squad.

FNAF – Prop Hunt

Five Nights at Freddy’s fans will be sure to get a kick out of this Fortnite Creative map, which takes the classic Five Nights at Freddy‘s pizzeria and allows players to run around with it. There are even animatronics that gamers can locate around the abandoned restaurant.

With tons of secret spots and unique items that the prop team can use, fans will have a lot of fun with this map. Like other smaller maps, FNAF – Prop Hunt holds up to 16 players, which is enthralling to those who shy away from larger games.

Prop Hunt – Beach Boardwalk

There are plenty of Creative prop hunt games that are set inside buildings, but how about outside? Prop Hunt – Beach Boardwalk takes fans on a trip to summer in a sunny-themed map with loads of beachy items to conceal themselves with.

There are even water slides in which players can have fun, in addition to simply hiding as a prop or hunting the opposing team as a hunter. Beach Boardwalk is a good-sized game, with plenty of spots for players to disguise themselves and hope for victory. The map can hold up to 24 players.

Prop Hunt – Family House

The Family House Prop Hunt game features adorable cats and it makes the most of the Proximity Chat feature exclusively available in Fortnite Creative.

In this game, both props and hunters will be in a family home and they will have to disguise themselves either with day-to-day household items or the most unexpected and large items, such as the cars and the trees in the yard. Either way, gamers must do their best to hide their location or uncover the location of those who are hiding.

Prop Hunt – The Farm

Many veteran Fortnite fans will remember the old farm map that took Creative mode by storm with its prop hunt gameplay. It was among the first prop hunt maps in the entire game, and its legacy hasn’t faded.

Prop Hunt – The Farm takes inspiration from the old farm map and expands on it with newer features and cosmetic designs. Like the older map, The Farm is pretty small, leaving fewer hiding spots, but only allowing 10 people to play.

Prop Hunt: School [Horror]

Horror is one of the most popular genres in Fortnite Creative mode, and as such, there are plenty of horror prop hunt maps such as this one. Prop Hunt: School [Horror] is, arguably, the best horror prop hunt map that gamers can dive into. This school-themed map has many dark places and crevices for players to crawl into, and will give anyone goosebumps while walking around the halls.

There are also impressive props that the prop team can use to hide, giving this map an edge over many others. With its grand size, this game can hold 20 players at max capacity, and has infection-style gameplay that allows for eliminated props to play as hunters.

Despite its maximum number of players capping at 24, Mall Mania Prop Hunt is one of the largest functional prop hunt maps in Creative mode’s directory. There are many different stores in the mall where Mall Mania takes place, and each store has numerous props for the hiding team to take advantage of.

In fact, Mall Mania boasts that there are “over 900+ props” for players to locate around its mall-themed map. Like many other prop hunt maps, Mall Mania is an infection-style game, ensuring that even those who are eliminated still have a chance to play and have a good time.

Fast Food Prop Hunt takes advantage of UEFN’s creative features, which results in a visually stunning Fortnite Creative game. In this map, players will have to quickly explore the food court in the mall to hide from the hunters.

From Durrr Burger-themed restaurants to Peely plushies, this map has got it all. It provides a fun environment for gamers who enjoy prop hunt gameplay and want to feel like they’re simply hanging out at the mall and playing a fun game.

Minecraft Prop Hunt

Fortnite has become well-known for its Creative maps taking inspiration from other franchises, especially with Five Nights at Freddy’s and Grand Theft Auto. This map delves into the same area, but with one of the world’s most famous video games of all time: Minecraft. Minecraft Prop Hunt displays a small map designed to appear as if it was ripped straight out of the Minecraft world.

This Unreal Engine 5 game takes many unusual models and allows players to use them to disguise themselves when shying away from the hunting team. Minecraft Prop Hunt can hold up to 12 players, giving gamers a 6v6 at maximum capacity.

Walmart Prop Hunt

Walmart is one of the most popular Prop Hunt games in Fortnite Creative. Up to 20 players can join a game of Walmart Prop Hunt at the same time, so it’s bound to be a hoot.

In this game, not only will players have to hide from or seek out their friends in a huge supermarket, but they’ll also have to collect coins, as it will grant them tons of XP. Due to the store’s huge dimensions, this Prop Hunt feels very similar to Fortkea Prop Hunt, which is also a great Prop Hunt game in Fortnite.

Forkea Prop Hunt

Forkea Prop Hunt is one of the most active prop hunt games in Fortnite Creative. It brings players to an IKEA-themed warehouse filled with different items, which offers a ton of possibilities when it comes to hiding as a prop and it adds some extra challenge for hunters.

While playing, gamers have to collect aliens, which are converted into XP, so it’s also a great way to level up in Fortnite while having a fun time with other players.

Prop Hunt – Candy Factory

A good prop hunt map has a few key aspects and features: Lots of props, large areas to cover, distinct yet clever hiding spots, and memorable niches that portray themselves across the whole game. Prop Hunt – Candy Factory hits all of those targets, and then some.

On this Candy Factory map, players will have no problem finding a hiding spot, as there are too many to cover in a single match. There are also tons of props, many of which follow the map’s theme of ‘candy.’ With 20 max players, Candy Factory becomes a warzone full of hunters and props.

Prop Hunt – Haunted House

Prop Hunt – Haunted House is one of the older prop hunt maps on this list and actually pre-dates the integration of Unreal Engine 5, but the creators of Haunted House ensure the game mode’s survival by consistently updating it. With new props, features, and rewards, Haunted House still has one of the larger player bases among prop hunt maps.

Not only that but there are even more inanimate objects that will move on their own across the floor. This creepy mechanic can throw off hunters and make for a unique experience. With hundreds of different hiding spots on this map, players will for sure be playing this map for a while.

Bikini Bottom Prop Hunt

Bikini Bottom Prop Hunt is one of the four games officially made and released as a collab with SpongeBob SquarePants. This map is lots of fun whether gamers are SpongeBob fans or not. However, if they’re familiar with the franchise, they’ll immediately recognize the scenario, the characters, and the props.

Players can hide or seek in Bikini Bottom as well as the various houses and shops that they will have seen on the show. This is your typical Prop Hunt game but it includes a fun SpongeBob SquarePants-twist that just makes it even better.
