Bring Times Square to your gaming PC with Asus’ amazing new AIO CPU cooler

There’s been a horde of product announcements this week during CES 2025 but this Asus CPU cooler, which we got to gaze at in person on the show floor, is an absolute doozy. This huge liquid CPU cooler has a wrap-around curved 6.7 inch display, with support for “naked-eye 3D” video playback that pops right out of the case.

Many of the best CPU coolers look impressive, but this Asus cooler is in a league of its own. The Asus ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB is a perfect match for dual-glass-panelled cases such as the Hyte Y70, thanks to the way its wraparound screen reflects the shape of those cases and that the front and side glass panels of such cases give you a full view of the screen.

While displays on CPU coolers aren’t actually so unusual – many AIO coolers, such as the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB AIO include them – the Ryuo IV SLC 360’s wraparound, curved 6.67-inch AMOLED panel is an entirely different take to anything we’ve seen before. In the real world, it looks absolutely incredible, with its sharp, vibrant colors really popping out from the panel, thanks (in part) to that naked-eye 3D effect. Th display even supports a ludicrously sharp 2K resolution and runs at 60Hz.

The panel isn’t just for a fancy 3D light show, however. It can be configured with custom hardware information, giving you a useful readout as well as a mesmerizing display.

There’s ARGB lighting on the radiator too, courtesy of its fans. The radiator comes with three 120mm fans that have customizable lighting on their blades and frames. These are also daisy-chained together magnetically, making for a cleaner and easier installation.

Even the tubing has been considered for the cleanest possible build, using a shortened length to take up less space inside the case, while also helping to keep the cooling loop as short as possible. This seemingly limits the number of ways you can fit the radiator, though, with the only reasonable option being to have it in the top of your case, not the front fan mount, for instance.

This is an absolutely incredible looking CPU cooler. If you’re thinking about how to build a gaming PC and you want to go all out with an eye-catching cooler as the center piece of your design, there are few options that can outshine this Asus ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB. At least that’s our initial impression. We’ll have to wait until it’s in our hands for a full review before passing judgement on it.

There’s no news yet on launch availability or pricing, but given that premium 360mm AIO coolers often demand over $150, we’d expect an extra fancy like this one to cost at least that much.
