Palworld features over 140 unique Pals, and with so many options available, it’s only natural to want to find the best ones. As your level increases, you’ll venture into the game’s more challenging islands in search of top-tier Pals for both your team and your base.
However, not every Pal you encounter in the wild will meet your expectations. That’s why you might turn to Alpha Pals—though they’re no easy feat to capture—or explore breeding to hatch specific Pals from eggs. In this guide, we’ll cover how to obtain Kitsun Noct, a Pal you won’t find wandering in the wild.
Where To Find Kitsun Noct
Kitsun Noct is a fox-like Pal with shades of black and purple, adorned with a flaming purple mane around its head. According to its Palpedia entry, this Pal is highly sensitive and carries a gloomy aura.
You won’t find Kitsun Noct roaming in the wild. To obtain it, you have two options: either hatch it from an egg or capture the Alpha Boss Kitsun Noct located on Feybreak Island.
How To Breed Kitsun Noct
To obtain Kitsun Noct, you’ll need to search for a 
Large Dark Egg
. However, if you don’t want to rely on random finds, you can breed specific Pal combinations at the Breeding Farm to produce a Large Dark Egg containing Kitsun Noct. Below is a table detailing the required Pal parent combinations to breed Kitsun Noct.

Where To Find Alpha Boss Kitsun Noct
The Alpha Boss Kitsun Noct is located on Feybreak Island, a large island in the southwestern part of the map. Since the Pals here are above level 50, you should prepare accordingly before venturing there.
When you check your map, the coordinates for Alpha Boss Kitsun Noct are listed as -1036, -1145. However, due to the terrain in this area, these coordinates can be misleading, as you won’t find Kitsun Noct directly at this spot. Instead, you should head to the coordinates -1039, -1196. At this location, you’ll discover the Dark Flame Tunnel where Kitsun Noct resides.
To reach this area, travel north from the Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate fast travel point. The Alpha Boss Kitsun Noct is level 57 and a formidable opponent. Make sure to bring strong Dragon-type Pals such as Jetragon, Xenolord, or Silvegis. Avoid using Normal-type Pals and Ice or Grass types, as Kitsun Noct’s fire attacks will put them at a disadvantage in battle.

Partner Skill & Work Suitability
Kitsun Noct’s partner skill is Foggy Mind, which allows you to ride it. While riding Kitsun Noct, your attacks are converted to the Dark type, making them effective against Neutral-type Pals. To craft the Kitsun Noct Saddle required for this skill, you’ll need to reach level 53 and gather the following materials:
In terms of Work Suitability, Kitsun Noct only possesses level two Kindling. This makes it less useful to keep at your base. While its ability to remain active at night can be advantageous, relying on Pals like

or Blazamut Ryu, which have higher Kindling levels, would be a better choice.
