Toy Story 5 is officially happening, which opens up the opportunity for a few returning characters, and one forgotten character in particular.

During a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Tim Allen revealed, “Toy Story 5, I’ve already begun. I’m into the third act, now, it’s remarkable what they’ve done. Typically, with Pixar, they didn’t say I couldn’t say anything. But there’s a lot of real intrigue with Buzz. Jessie’s got in big trouble, and she needs help. It’s a really cool thing.”

The voice of Buzz has already confirmed that he’s been enjoying the recording process for the fifth movie. With Allen in the third act of the movie, he’s certainly making strong progress in laying down the voice, although it’s likely that he will have to go back into the recording booth after it’s all done to tidy everything up.
