Solo Leveling Season 2 started off with a bang, unlike the slow start of Season 1. In the first episode of season 2, Sung Jin-woo visited Sung Jinah’s high school, where he had a conversation with the person in charge. Once they finished talking about Sung Jin-woo’s sister, the woman asked if he could help a student who was struggling to make the right choice.

Sung Jin-woo agreed to the request and decided to talk to the young lady. Upon meeting her, he found that she had previously participated in one of his raids. He tried talking to her, but she seemed to have made up her mind. So Sung Jin-woo decided to take another approach. He used his connections to gain access to a lower-ranked gate. He believed that she would change her mind after seeing how dangerous it could be.

However, nothing could prepare Sung Jin-woo for what came next. As they entered the gate, it changed color and turned into a red gate. It was shortly revealed that it was impossible to leave the dungeon until the main boss had been defeated or until a dungeon break happened. As they went forward, Sung Jin-woo and the rest of the group were welcomed by ice elves. These creatures were smart, and they used various tactics to bring down their enemies.

It wasn’t long before the Ice Elves killed one of the raiders. To circumvent this problem, Kim Chul, the A-ranked Hunter, decided to form two groups. He was confident in his abilities, and he wanted to keep away the weaklings to increase his own odds of survival and rise through the ranks in the White Tiger Guild. Once the groups were formed, there they went in separate directions. Sung Jin-woo and his companions traveled through the woods while the other group moved towards open ground.

The Fate Of The Two Groups

Sung Jin-woo told his companions not to question him about anything, an odd request to which they reluctantly agreed. As they went through the territory of the ice bears, Sung Jin-woo showed off his skills and eliminated most of them with ease. He then left the group in a safe place with food and headed off to find more ice bears to kill. Ultimately, he came across a cave that was filled with ice bears. In order to conserve his stamina, Sung Jin-woo used necromancy to summon fallen spirits.

As expected, they made short work of the enemies but struggled against their leader. The massive ice bear was able to decimate most of the soldiers save for Igris. The latter’s strength and speed made short work of the enemy. Elsewhere, Kim Chul’s group was almost annihilated by the Ice Elves. The malevolent creatures toyed with their opponents before ultimately striking them down. Unfortunately, the group was eliminated in the blink of an eye.

Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2 will be released on January 12, 2025. The episode is titled “I Suppose You Aren’t Aware.” In this particular episode, fans will get the opportunity to see Sung Jin-woo in action against the Ice Elves. It is quite apparent that the Ice Elves are a bigger threat than the Ice Bears. So, the hero will have to be on his toes to deal with the threat. Not only does he have to protect himself, but he also has to make sure that his companions are safe. None of them stood a chance against the ice bears, so it is plausible to assume that the Ice Elves will annihilate them.
