Valorant Mobile is one of those games where we have waited for so long that we might eventually forget it was supposed to hit our mobile screens. However, it is now time to jump the hype train, as we have got some interesting teasers heading our way as Riot Games continues to tease Valorant Mobile.
Fans are still waiting for a full hands-on experience since Valorant Mobile’s initial announcement in 2021
This year, Riot Games is expected to start providing regular updates on Valorant Mobile. In recent communications, they revealed they are working with an “amazing partner” to bring the game to life. This isn’t a hidden secret, it has been confirmed to be Tencent Games for a long time now, which is the parent company for Riot Games and also takes care of Valorant Mobile publishing in China.
Last month, the official German Valorant Twitter account recently shared a playful post featuring the caption, “got any games on your phone?”. Tweeted alongside a weirdly resized photo of Killjoy, one of the agents from Valorant, wearing a playful and quirky outfit with her signature glasses and a green beanie might indicate the process of developing the title for mobile resolutions.
With the initial announcement in June 2021 following the leaks that suggested development, the Valorant Mobile project has yet to give players a chance to experience the full fun. Apart from reports of testing, global players didn’t get their share of play. Meanwhile, Valorant Mobile China was approved with the local version ‘Project C’ opening a closed beta test last year, where the closed beta gameplay looked impressive.
Remember back in 2023 when they said development of the game is going great but it will not come out until it feels amazing on mobile? It would be such a shame if the product isn’t what we are promised from one of the biggest hits on PC and Consoles.
As of now, we are still waiting to know more details about the mobile version of the hit tactical shooter. These hints are not enough, the official confirmation of testing or pre-registrations might be something that will wake up the fans.
