Smartphones also need to be updated to at least Android 12 or iOS 18. Streaming games remotely is bandwidth-intensive, and a connection speed of 30 Mbps is preferable. In most scenarios, gamers can’t use PC Remote Play away from home without a PC. Server and client devices must be on the same network to communicate. As PC Remote Play evolves, it should become usable away from home networks.
Gamers don’t need an imposing desktop system to try Razer’s PC Remote Play. The slimmer Razer Blade 16 gaming laptop is another CES 2025 announcement drawing attention. Despite a streamlined design, the Blade 16 is plenty powerful enough to play and stream the most demanding titles.
