After a ton of leaks and rumors, Intel has finally made official its Arrow Lake series of mobile processors at CES 2025. The lineup includes five new Core Ultra 200H series mobile chips, six new Core Ultra 200HX series chips, and 12 new Core Ultra 200S series desktop processors, further expanding its portfolio. All these processors come with AI-enabled features to optimize performance and deliver even more efficient performance than the previous generation.

Intel Core Ultra 200HX and 200H Series Mobile Processors
Targeting gamers and creators, the Core Ultra 200HX and 200H series boast improvements to the Performance-cores (P-cores) and Efficient-cores (E-cores), along with an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) for AI acceleration and Intel Arc graphics. “With breakthrough compute and graphics performance, efficiency, AI capabilities, these processors will push the entire laptop experience to new heights,” said Josh Newman, Intel’s general manager of Product Marketing and Management.
The Core Ultra 200H lineup starts with the Core Ultra 5 225H, which features a total of 14 cores divided into four P-cores, eight E-cores, and two low-power E-cores. It can boost up to 4.9 GHz and comes with integrated Arc graphics capable of 63 TOPS with seven Xe cores. At the top end is the Core Ultra 9 285H, with 16 total cores divided into six P-cores, eight E-cores, and two low-power E-cores. This chip can boost up to 5.4 GHz and packs eight Xe cores for the Arc integrated GPU.

The Core Ultra 200HX processors will be present in high-performance laptops and will start with the Core Ultra 5 235HX, which comes with six P-cores and eight E-cores, with a boost clock speed of 5.1 GHz, but only three Xe cores for the integrated GPU. Sitting at the top of this lineup is the Core Ultra 9 285HX with 24 cores, divided into eight P-cores and 16 E-cores, with a max boost clock speed of 5.5 GHz.

Intel Core Ultra 200S Desktop Processors
The lineup of Core Ultra 200S Arrow Lake desktop processors was introduced back in October of last year, and now the company has expanded the portfolio with 12 new offerings that are either 65W or 35W chips. Designed for mainstream desktop users, these processors come with up to eight P-cores and 16 E-cores at the top end. The Core Ultra 9 285 carries this configuration of cores with a 65W TDP, while the Core UItra 9 285T uses the same configuration, albeit with a 35W TDP. At the bottom of the chart is the Core Ultra 5 225F, offering six P-cores and four E-cores, plus a 65W TDP, with a 225T variant coming with a 35W TDP.
Intel Arrow Lake Mobile and Desktop CPUs: Price and Availability
Intel has shared that laptops powered by the Core Ultra 200H and U series will become available starting February 2025 and will be followed by the Core Ultra 200HX-based systems sometime in the first half of the year. The 200S series, on the other hand, will be available much sooner: both the 65W and 35W desktop processors, as well as OEM systems, will start showing up at various retailers on January 13.
