Sonic the Hedgehog had quite the year in 2024, closing things out with a third movie that continues to pull in big numbers at the box office. If you’ve read past the spoiler warning above, you’ve presumably seen that movie and know Metal Sonic makes an appearance in its mid-credits scene. If you can’t wait to see more of Metal Sonic in the already-confirmed Sonic 4, pre-orders are now open for its debut First 4 Figures statue.
That’s the good news. The bad news is how much it’s going to cost you if you want to make this high-end Metal Sonic statue a part of your home decor. First 4 Figures gave a sneak peek at the statue at the end of last year, and if you’re familiar with the brand, which has turned other core Sonic characters into expensive collectibles, then you will have been bracing yourselves for Metal Sonic’s imminent price reveal ever since.

There are three versions of the Metal Sonic statue available – Standard, Exclusive, and Definitive. The standard version of the statue includes everything that was teased in those initial images. Metal Sonic standing on a platform with its arm reaching out in front of it, one of its feet crushing a sign that appears in the Sonic games when the Blue Blur is about to fall off the edge of the stage. Pre-orders are live now and cost $424.99.
While that’s a hefty price tag, if this is something you want, you’re better off pre-ordering now rather than waiting. Pre-orders are discounted for the next 32 days after which point the standard statue’s price will go up to $449.99.
The exclusive edition is slightly more expensive at $449.99. That’s because it is adorned with LED lights which can be found around its base, on the boosters at the back, and best of all, red ones in Metal Sonic’s eyes to make the antagonist feel more alive. However, if you want the definitive version of this Metal Sonic statue, you’ll need to buy its definitive edition.
I Know It’s More Than $500, But That Definitive Edition Looks So Good
The definitive statue costs $100 more than the standard version at $524.99, but there’s a lot more to it for that extra cash. Not just the LEDs incorporated into the exclusive edition’s design, but also interchangeable arms and a bigger base. That bigger base is needed so that Tails’ Cyclone plane, crashed and engulfed in LED-powered flames, can fit on it, sitting at Metal Sonic’s feet after he stole and crashed it.

Metal Sonic has joined First 4 Figures collection of high-end Sonic the Hedgehog statues. There are three versions of the statue available. The exclusive version has LED lights incorporated into the design, and the exclusive version includes a wider base with a crashed plane behind Metal Sonic.
Pre-orders for the Metal Sonic statue are now open and available through the links in the box above. As is usually the case with collectibles of this caliber, after your pre-order is secured, the wait for the statue to arrive will be a long one. First 4 Figures estimates the statues will ship in Q1 2026. Maybe we’ll know more about Sonic 4 by then, although probably not since it’s currently slated to hit theaters in 2027.
