How to unlock all characters in Squad Busters

  • With time you can unlock most of the characters in Squad Busters.
  • Some Squad Busters characters you can only get through events.

Supercell‘s Squad Busters has 39 normal characters currently. But you do not get to play with all the characters when you start the game. You need to unlock each of them before you can pick them for your squad. So how do you unlock them quickly? This is what I’ll explain in this article after playing over 2000 matches in Squad Busters.

It is natural to wait and unlock all characters in Squad Busters unless you have a fat wallet. You should be able to unlock every single character if you are regular with the game and have completed the Squad Journey. But certain tips may be useful to know.

It is always better not to use the gold currency for buying characters from the shop. The prices are huge and not worth it. As you can see 100k gold just to unlock Bea should never be the choice for free-to-play players or little spenders.

There are some characters which you can only unlock via events (such as Bandit), while some characters you can only unlock at certain times. If you missed unlocking the TRANSFORMERS characters, those can only be unlocked again if the collaboration returns in the future.

As you progress in the Squad Journey, it will unlock most of the characters. However, that being said, you may need to wait a long time to unlock certain characters as not all of them are unlockable through the Squad Journey. Some need luck, and these can make you wait for a long time.

For example, I did get Medic from the Green World even after 250 matches. I have seen some people complaining about not being able to unlock characters, while a few have said they were lucky enough to get all the characters without spending any money.
