Fortnite Hunters takes players to a mythical island where they can wield powerful Oni Masks, locate elemental Sprites to claim unique rewards, and explore a wide range of Japanese-inspired locations. There is plenty to do this season, and while players will often find themselves eliminating other players to secure a Victory Royale, they can also face fierce demons.
There are wide range of demons that await players in Fortnite Hunters, from massive bosses to lesser demons that are relatively easy to defeat. Each demon drops unique items upon elimination, making them a surefire way to obtain high-rarity loot. Here’s where players can find every demon in Fortnite.

Earth Sprites offers a surefire way of acquiring Legendary weapons, but their locations are often hard to find.
Demon Warrior Locations
The first set of demons that players may encounter are the Demon Warriors, each of which can be found near active portals in designated locations around the map. While there are 7 possible spawn locations for the Demon Warriors, only 3 will spawn in each game. Here is a quick breakdown of all the locations where Demon Warriors can spawn:
- Shogun’s Solitude
- Spiral Shoots (south of Masked Meadows)
- Kappa Kappa Farm (far south of Shining Span)
- Overlook Lighthouse (northeast of Shining Span)
- Lost Lake
- Along the river northeast of Magic Mosses
- West of Flooded Frogs
Demon Warriors are relatively easy to take down but wield either one of two Oni Masks or a Typhoon Blade, along with being accompanied by two Demon Grunts. Once eliminated, Demon Warriors will drop the following items:
- Typhoon Blade, Void Oni Mask, or Fire Oni Mask
- Void or Fire Boon
- Epic Weapon
- Shield Potion
Forecast Tower Demon Lieutenant Locations
Following the Demon Warriors are the Demon Lieutenants, each of which spawns near an active Forecast Tower. There are five total Forecast Towers on the Fortnite island. However, only two will become active following the closing of the second storm circle, and once they are active they will be revealed on the map. The locations of these Forecast Towers are as follows:
- North of Masked Meadows
- East of the Bird
- Southwest of Lost Lake
- Northeast of Brutal Boxcars
- Northwest of Shining Span
Once a Forecast Tower becomes active, a Demon Lieutenant will rift to their location, along with two Demon Grunts. Once eliminated, the Demon Lieutenant will drop the following items:
- Forecast Tower Access Card
- Chug Splashes
- Shield Potion
- Epic Fury or Holo-Twister Assault Rifle
Taking the Forecast Tower Access Card to the Forecast Tower will reveal future safe zones.
Night Rose Location
Next up is Night Rose, one of the bosses that players can battle on the Fortnite Hunters island. Night Rose can be found at Demon’s Dojo, and players must progress through various boss phases to defeat her. This involves shooting at the eyes of her puppeteer form, followed by dealing damage to her in her regular form. Once eliminated, Night Rose will drop the following items:
- Night Rose Medallion
- Night Rose Veiled Precision SMG
- Night Rose’s Void Oni Mask
- Shield Potion

Shogun X Locations
First Phase Location
Shogun X is a rather unique demon when compared to the previous ones, as he can be found in multiple locations around the map. In his first boss fight phase, Shogun X will spawn in a random location, and his location will be revealed on the map for players to track. Battling Shogun X at this stage and eliminating him will allow players to obtain the following rewards:
- Random Mythic Enhanced Weapon (Oni Shotgun, Sentinel Pump Shotgun, Twin Mag Shotgun, Surgefire SMG, Holo-Twister Assault Rifle, Fury Assault Rifle)
- Void Boon
- Shield Potion
Once defeated, Shogun X will then teleport to another location for players to repeat the same phase, and this will repeat all the way up to the fourth circle.
Second Phase Location
For his second phase, Shogun X can be found at Shogun’s Arena, a floating POI that will teleport into the map during the fourth circle. This phase is pretty much a carbon copy of the first, but this time yielding different rewards. Eliminating Shogun X at his arena will reward players with the following:
- Shogun X Medallion
- Shogun X’s Typhoon Blade
- Shogun X’s Fire Oni Mask
- Shield Potion
Eliminating demons and picking up any of the items they drop will contribute progress to the Weekly Quest: collect items from eliminated demons.
