During the 2024 season of the VALORANT Champions Tour, Riot Games introduced VCT Team capsules. Each of these capsules consisted of a unique skin in VALORANT for each team within the 4 VCT Leagues. There have been multiple leaks concerning the upcoming VCT 2025 capsules. Let’s look at all the information about the forthcoming skins.
What is a VCT team capsule?

The first edition of the VCT team capsules was introduced between the 2024 season of the VALORANT Champions Tour. At that time, each team within the VCT Pacific, EMEA, and Americas leagues had a capsule released during the game. Teams from VCT China received their exclusive skin later in the year.
Each VCT 2024 Team Capsule consisted of a weapon skin of the Classic, a gun buddy, a spray, and the custom player card. Each team could have their custom player card within the game within these bundles. VALORANT fans could purchase as many bundles as possible within the game. For each VCT team capsule sold, the respective team would receive 50% of the sales profits. Similar to how Riot Games shares the revenue of the VALORANT Champions bundle each year.

All Details of the Leaked VCT 2025 Capsules
Compared to the 2024 VCT Team capsules, there are a few changes in the 2025 edition. Firstly, each team has a similar player card with a color scheme based on the respective team. Another point to note is the classic weapon skin has a design consisting of a splash of paint on the weapon’s body. Thirdly, there is a unique easter egg within the inspection animation of the skin for specific teams.
If a team has won a tournament of VALORANT Champions or a regional VCT League, it will be showcased within the inspect animation. For example, as EDward Gaming had won VALORANT Champions 2024 and VCT CN 2024, there will be a pop-up during their inspection animation to highlight these accolades. According to the leaks, the teams that qualified for the 4 VCT Leagues through VCT Ascension 2024 haven’t received a skin yet in the game.
The VCT 2024 Team capsules were priced at around 2,340 VALORANT Points. Thus, the VCT 2025 Team capsules could cost around 2,500 VP for the entire bundle.
According to Riot Games, in 2024, EDward Gaming sold the most skins in the game, with Paper Rex and Sentinels finishing second and third, respectively. This revenue was part of the $44 million that Riot Games shared with the teams in the VCT during the 2024 season. With the VCT 2025 season right around the corner, only time will tell which team will sell the most capsules within VALORANT this year.
