The Maker is an alternate version of Reed Richards from the Ultimate timeline. Instead of being a hero, Mister Fantastic turned into a villain in his attempts to perfect the world. This version of the character wears a mask over most of his face after Human Torch left him disfigured during a brutal battle. Mister Fantastic isn’t the only character getting a dark variant, as Marvel Rivals‘ Invisible Woman will also be receiving a villainous skin named Malice.

NetEase Games releases an update announcing new maps, a new game mode, and battle pass details for Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.

The official Twitter account for Marvel Rivals announced that Mister Fantastic will be receiving his first skin called The Maker when he makes his debut on January 10. The skin features a sleek black and gray design with a glowing blue circle on the character’s chest and back. A slate-colored mask covers most of Mister Fantastic’s face with a blue visor wrapped around his eyes. Gameplay of Marvel Rivals‘ Mister Fantastic shows the suit growing and stretching as he changes his shape while using various abilities.

Dataminers have also discovered cosmetics for characters like Hulk, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange. While there’s no way to know when or how these skins might release, many fans are hoping to see some of them in the battle pass for Season 1.
